He was always off limits it seemed for late night comedians but it seems even Fallon was making fun of him. I suspect he will officially stand down in the coming days actually. I think the time limits going behind the scene and his own people will be calling him to step down.

Be the only WISE, ruthless move his dismal dreary team & campaign made ffs. Keep hearing very credibly Trump's team are actually *dreading a change to the top of the ticket!! Even as cocky as they are.

To do this during Trumps speech at the RNC would be a genius move from a marketing point of view. All stations will cut from Trump to Biden and those who don't will have this as breaking news on the screen. People at the convention get the news on their phones and will be distracted. And the best, even if Trump gives a more sub-dued speech (unity, blah, blah) he will be thrown off immediatly and will start ranting as he always does.

Nikki Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 he actually did a great speech at the RNC about the shooting and the firemen who lost his life. but he quickly went to his old ways.

I feel so weird about this.. because in one way, I find it all so comical.. trump and his fans are so unintentionally funny. but it's real and serious, which makes it very sad.
Raider of the lost Ark Posted July 20, 2024 Posted July 20, 2024 Media is slowly waking up, asking why there is no medical information regarding Trumps injury and why the FBI will neither confirm nor deny that Trump was hit by a bullet. From the information we know so far, it becomes more and more likely this was not Trump related, except for the fact the incident happened to be a Trump rally. A "normal" mass shooting scenario by a mental person with a gun appears to be the most logical explanation. The problem: The story about this incident was written the moment Trump was hit by something and everybody jumped to conclusions. How do you go back from assasination attempt to shooting when you know exactly that Trump and MAGA will claim that the investigation was rigged by an FBI and DOJ run by democrats. People need to understand that MAGA is a cult, a religious movement if you will and the alleged assasination attempt turned Trump into a martyr, a Christ like figure. Just as they don't accept the results of an election, they will not accept a result of an investigation that says it was no assasination attempt.
Ciccone's Cheeks Posted July 20, 2024 Posted July 20, 2024 ^ Yup...even both sides media which is rampant in the US is finally starting to go there (CNN). It's a WEEK later now!! A former Pres. current front runner & likely Pres. again who was 'hit by a fng bullet' yet NO press conferences, no meaningful FBI/ CIA statements, idea of *where he went, medical reports, etc...of course this stinks. Ya, lone wolf 'mentally ill kid' . Okay. Not enough very obviously. Absolute mess and I strongly feel it's ALL about that. The goal. Maga ideology is hosing the media w/ sh*t, being vague, shady, whipping up conspiracies to lead to more 'chaos'. It's all ANTI transparency. Facism 101. It's not 'sleep walking into it'- it's here now and the US was absolutely always was pre disposed to it more than most other western nations. Was always pulsating when (not if). Been brewing for several years just needed the right clown to green light it (Trump).

One would think that the fact that he can't speak properly would be enough of a turn off for ANYONE. He just sounds so fucking retared all the time... Regardless of one's political point of view.
Nikki Posted July 20, 2024 Posted July 20, 2024 it's a shame how biden gets such little credit (he might be one of the best presidents we have seen in years) and how trump gets away with all of his lies. everything he said about biden and his own presidency is the opposite.. everyone can research all of this..
Nikki Posted July 20, 2024 Posted July 20, 2024 correspondents from Europe at the convention said there was a lottery to win the same brand of rifle used in the attempted assassination of Trump. you can't make this shit up

Worst possible *messenger at the worst time. The message, policies & the opponent= 'should' result in a UK like pummeling against the GOP! But need someone forceful, clear, crisp w/ precision to simply deliver IT. Everyone of his surrogates DOES & quite effectively. But they're not the person on the top of ticket. When you have someone who's literally in sustained tying himself in pretzels mode, incoherent now every time he (tries) to speak in this meek & week tone (I literally have to turn the volume up high) frail etc...Its all just a super storm of traits rn. It waay more than just a 'stutter' or 'gaffe'. That was Biden in 2020 & before.
Raider of the lost Ark Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 I applaud Biden for still trying to get the things done he has started and have been successful so far, as it shows a great deal of responsibility. If I was Biden, I would say "f*ck it" and retire. What we see now for several weeks is downright bullying. There is no other way to describe it. The glee some people, especially in the media, show is appalling. It is just as wrong as all those second tier democrats coming forward asking him to step down. "Unimportant" people you have never heard of, feel the need to play some power games. We will need to have serious discussions how we handle such situations in the future and especially how we treat other human beings, especially decent ones.
elijah Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 Biden is stepping down. What a great man! Hopefully they choose someone amazing!
promise to try Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 well, I guess people are going to vote for kamala...not! trump is going to win easily, but at least the debates are going to be better.Anyways, it seems to me that they should have kept kamala for the next elections
Kurt420 Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 Well I hope all of the Dem "elites" and the media will be pleased with themselves on the morning of 11/6. I hope those that bullied Biden out have their boots strapped on for major legal challenges from the Republicans. We are now officially in a space that's very much gray and we can be sure that vulnerability will be taken advantage of to the fullest possibility. Less than 110 days to pick someone, work through any legal challenges (oh and let's pray none of those challenges make it to SCOTUS), raise money (from $0 if the nominee is anyone but Harris....all that Biden/Harris money won't transfer to a new candidate) and drum up support for a brand new presidential candidate. Gee....I don't see how anything could possibly go wrong. But hey at least we'll have someone younger now. Let's hope "younger" will win the election just as the know it all "pundits" have been shouting for the last month. I'm 1000% behind Kamala if she's the nominee but do we really think all those old white folks (scoff all you want, that's a HUGE chunk of RELIABLE voters) are just going to fall in line behind Kamala? The Harris campaign has some major work to do. I don't see how this is going to be possible. That's not a dig on her as a person or her capabilities as a politician. Personally, I like her but just thinking realistically here.
jonski43 Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 Has Kamala been any good? I thought she'd made some mistakes early on and they'd moved focus away from her as I've not heard much about her in the past couple of years? But yes, good that Biden stepped down. Imagine how he might be in four years time!

The delusion that forcing this outcome was going to improve their chances is just that. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but this is not going to end well from my POV. You can't force the idealistic future you wish for in a world half full of backwards thinking people, on both sides.
Cyber-Raga Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 If Harris is officially nominated, she should pick a white middle aged guy from the Midwest like a Josh Shapiro and she must debate the orange wanna be dictator at least once. Then yes, she can win this race. Lots of polling backs that up.
KalamazooJay Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 I think you’re all crazy for thinking this isn’t a massive jolt of electricity for the Democrats. Biden excited absolutely no one. He was a walking corpse that should’ve bowed out prior to the primaries. He did what he had to do - beat Trump and signed in a host of impressive accomplishments. But. Now there’s an open process, intrigue, buzz about a running mate, and wall to wall coverage about their upcoming convention. Dems NEEDED this. They desperately needed the media coverage to shift in a different direction. ESPECIALLY after Trumps assassination attempt. For the next few weeks all the focus will be on this nomination process and that’s a huge net positive. HUGE.
