At this point the incident should be reported as "shooting" since we don't know the motives of the shooter. Why is everyone convinced the guy wanted to kill Trump? Yes, Trump was hit by something on the ear. But this could have been a coincidence. I repeat what I said before, maybe this was just another mass shooting by someone with mental problems, by someone who wanted to leave this earth with a bang, someone who wanted to be recognized for once? To me, at this point is way more plausible than anything else considering the guy was Republican. The term "assasination attempt" brings a political element into this and we have already seen several MAGA people putting the blame on Biden and the Democrats. I wonder if they will change their tune if it turns out this was merely another nutcase with a gun. Well, I already know they will still blame Biden and the Democrats because everything that does not fit their narrative is rigged.

What I am saying is that the politization of the shooting at this point is questionable. The only thing that makes it somewhat political is that Trump was hit by something during a shooting that happened to be his rally. As long as we don't know the motives of the shooter, I'd be very careful because roling back from "assansination attempt" is hardly possible and as I said before, Trumps will then say the investigation was rigged because the narrative that he is somehow a martyr would go away.

Unless, you have further information about the motives of the shooter, you know as much as I do. What we know about the shooter simply does not explain why he would shoot Trump.

Therefore the doctor or any other medical staff cannot reveal anything without risking losing their license. Well, they will be afraid of his cult members as well. I said it before, his first post after the shooting was that he was hit by a bullet, something that has been questioned immediately. It would not be a good look if they have to admit that it was merely a piece of glass or something that hit him. That doesn't sound so dramatic.

Is it usual in America (I’m a Brit) I know medical reports are available about JKK following the assassination, but he died. Is it usual for American politicians to have medical records made available? Its not here in the U.K. all medical reports are kept private for our Royal Family & our Politicians. Medical records are private material here in the U.K.

Nothing to be surprised or 'shocked' about (vs 2016). But it's July not mid Sept or Oct (10x worse). 3.5 months like 3 yrs in politics and the news cycle. Joe is getting absolutely 24/7 pummeled. In ways I never saw w/ Trump. But Joe & his team pulsate weakness &:*incapable (unlike Trump) of countering. But not just get out but go BIG & crafty & dirty/ruthless to counter the Maga machinery & recalibrate! everything! (eg: troll Trump tonight right as he's about to go on stage!) THAT part of it is when I never count NANCY Pelosi out! She's female Trump. Ruthless, street, ace instinct & timing. Right at this 2nd ya, it's over but still say tomm. or 4 days from now could be an instant 180...jaw dropping everything.
