VictorMarques Posted January 21 Posted January 21 America now has an openly nazi person in the government. How can anyone say this is ok? How can anyone say that Kamala was worst than this? Have you lost your minds? Quote

San Posted January 21 Posted January 21 This is worse than last time even. I simply can't believe this is all real. This really may be the point of no return for US, and may have dire consequences for the rest of the world. So many negative feelings Quote

Raider of the lost Ark Posted January 21 Posted January 21 And once again he was babbling how bad the EU is treating the U.S.. "They don't take our cars, they don't take our food products". Well, when the U.S. starts to built cars that are attractive to EU consumers (let's face it, most U.S. cars are really ugly and of bad quality, a shame, considering the beauties that were built in the 50s and 60s) and if food quality would meet EU standards. No, Europeans do not wish to buy products that are genetically modified and have the most unhealthy and even potentially cancerous ingredients. And to top it all, are most likely more expensive than EU produce. And interestingly, I have read somewhere that certain services are not counted towards trade deficits. Like software licences and stuff. Most of them are U.S. companies. If counted, those would reduce the trade deficit significantly and Trump would lose his talking points. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if this is done on purpose and it just shows the huge dishonesty. Quote

I have been in disbelief and shock since the USA election that so many Americans voted for him. Against their better interests. Already the prices of prescription medicine are going to sky rocket. O’h and the price of eggs are not going to fall seeing that is something that so many were talking about. The effect that this fascist idiot and his billionaire buddies and tech buddies will have on the rest of the world also is terrifying. It won’t be just Americans who will suffer. As for his “Drill baby drill” policies - utterly disgusting and dangerous. The millionaires who own oil companies will be happy though Quote

Now there are dictators that hate us from all sides who seem intent on dividing the world into their spheres of influences. Feels like a repeat of the late 20ties-30ties of the last century and we know how it turned out. Seems like only Europe has remained relatively sane in this mad world. But its the American ppl who decided they want him. Quote

KNOWING full well the inhumane policies this administration will put forward are completely incompatible with anything related to the religion they purport to be part of. Fake Christians. Fucking human garbage. I wish the absolute worst for each and every one of them. Quote
jonski43 Posted January 22 Posted January 22 He's gone and pardoned the guy who created the Silk Road darkweb site where all kinds of drugs were available along with other illegal products. He's effectively opening up the dark web to his cronies along with his pro-crypto agenda. It's a crooks paradise. I still hope that he and Musk will crash and bring each other down. And we'll probably get more Louis Mangioni style murders. Quote
Nikki Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Spanish member (European parliament) Laura Ballarin Cereza later called out Trump’s allies, social media giants Elon Musk (owner of X) and Mark Zuckerberg (Meta CEO), referring to when Musk appeared to perform a Nazi salute following Trump’s inauguration. "European citizens please be responsible and fact check the information you use and share and to mask zukerberg and Company in Europe we have a market of millions of users that provide money to your companies yes but we also love protecting our citizens and the democracies by making laws. If you don’t like it, you can always leave and take it or leave it. You can always take your Nazi salutes and your masculine energy and go back home." Quote
MadFan Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Like others have said this is genuinely frightening and unbelievable. Trump has essentially come in like a wrecking ball and repealed executive orders that were institutions for decades. The Equal Opportunity Act for starters. It's now legal for an employer to discriminate on the basis of race, gender, and sex. When you consider history, civil wars have broken out over less, but everyone seems so placated now. And yeah fuck that inbred blonde bitch above, I'm glad her performance was a dismal FLOP. Quote
Raider of the lost Ark Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Underwood was not given the same respect as Gaga and Beyonce. Well, in case she hadn't realized, those performed for Democratic presidents not a Republican, well, MAGA one. If she didn't know her place as a woman in the MAGA world, she hopefully does now. Does she regret throwing parts of her fanbase under the bus now? BTW her performance was not very good. I don't know if there was supposed to be music and there was a technical glitch, but that karaoke version with parts of the audience joining in, felt something one would see on a cruise ship. Quote

Camacho Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Trump Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt: "It was supposed to be a unifying and bipartisan church service ... everybody there was shocked and mortified by the disturbing comments from this bishop who chose to weaponize the pulpit ... she spewed lies ... she should apologize to President Trump for the lies that she told. It's despicable." Quote
Camacho Posted January 23 Posted January 23 The amount of garbage coming daily is insane and hard to keep up. He is worse now than his 1st term! And the mainstream corporate media now barely reacts negatively in their coverage of Trump. Quote
Shaun Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I’ve finally accepted, after nine years, that I’ve lost my parents to MAGA. It’s painful, but I have to create distance to protect my peace. They are 100% brainwashed and I don’t see a path forward for us. I have spent years trying to normalize their support for Trump, but I’m walking away this time. They voted for Bush, McCain, and Romney…but those were different times. They have tripled-down on Trump and I no longer recognize them. Quote
