And EU should already have bend the rules or approve a new rule so that if Scotland seceded from UK ,when Brexit would not have been final, Scotland would have remained a member. I can't imagine how sad it must be to be taken out of the EU by a government that doesn't represent your country. Probably because most governments have decided (been instructed) to now put the economy first over health (with the straw man argument that an economic downturn will lead to even worse health outcomes than covid ) so all the messages have been diluted - it's a risky strategy if a huge second wave hits.
