Traffic alert: Madonna fans, New Yorkers, Parrot Heads converge

It looks to be a jam packed night in the Philadelphia area - in more ways than one.

Three area venues will rock with sports and music at about the same time tonight, meaning the tail-end of rush hour could be significantly impacted.

First, the Phillies take on the New York Mets at 7:05 p.m. at Citizens Bank Park.

Though the Phillies ended their 257 consecutive games sellout streak in the beginning of August, attendance is still high at most games, and could hover around 45,000 tonight - give or take a few thousand.

More than a few Mets fans have been known to make the trek, even though the game is a battle of two teams below the .500 win mark.

Then, Madonna opens her North American tour across the street in South Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center at 8 p.m.

Tickets for her show fall in the range of $45, $90, $170 - and $355 for the most premium seating. The venue seats about 20,000.

SEPTA is adding trains on the Broad Street Line to accommodate the crowds.

And Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band take the stage at about the same time just over the Ben Franklin Bridge in Camden at the Susquehanna Bank Center.

The venue seats about 25,000.

Buffet always draws a loyal following of "Parrot Heads" that converge in area parking lots well before show time.

So many memories there! My first concert was DWT and it was at that venue, I even saw all the Xgames moto-x events at that place when they were held in Philly.
