I remember many Bernie fans voting for trump because they were tired of the establishment and wanted a populist. Kamala can get those voters now thanks to walz.

piers has always been an asshole. him and Elon knowingly spreading fake news has been so damaging for trans people. I love Cenk for calling them out and being the man of common sense.

picking jd vance was a big mistake. he won't win again. he lost against "sleepy Joe" and people weren't that excited to vote for him in 2020 (from what I've seen, most dems just voted to go against Trump)

unlike with Joe (and even with Hillary) many young people are very excited to vote for Kamala this time. it reminds me of the Obama nomination. the amount she's raised in such a short time is something that's never happened before. there's a lot of excitement.

Yes.  JD Vance is a terrible choice but I still find it unbelievable that anyone supports Trump.   Trump is a deranged, idiotic dangerous moron and how he has any supporters is a blight on America.

I still don't get how many women, people of colour and some gays support him.

I know.  It is like it is a dark comedy movie that you would think would never happen but it is happening.  Every single time I see him on the news or read his crazy social media posts that he releases,  I wonder how anyone could support him.

I always remember these two from the first campaign.

But I kind of get it as I've seen a few black people be pro trump. He spouts "Christian" values and a lot of black people are deeply religious.

I'm sorry, those people are plain stupid. This guy is clearly not a Christian. He has shown over and over again, he is not. He cannot recite anything from the bible, he does not even know how to hold a bible correctly. He visited a church merely once, for his own communion. But it is the same with the people claiming he is this great business man. So great that basically all his companies had to file for bankruptcy at some point. Even his casinos. How do you bankrupt a casino? And he is not self-made either. All his money was provided my his father. Donald Trump is a grifter first and foremost. Mark my words, at the end of September he will sell all his Truth Social shares and all his cult followers who bought that junk will lose all their money because it will turn into a penny stock. Based on the financial reports it should be already. I hope he will finally go away once he loses in November. And with "go away" I mean "to prison".

Walz is a fantastic pick. He’s lively enough for the stump but boring enough to do no harm to the ticket. He contrasts Kamala’s “cosmopolitan” vibe perfectly. He’s every Americans favorite teacher, coach, neighbor, uncle, dad, etc.

Shapiro & Harris would’ve looked WAY too polished and perfect together and quite frankly there’s something about him that rubs me the wrong way. She already rubs some people the wrong way herself, so I can see why she went with a guy who doesn’t look like he was cooked up in a political laboratory.

Seeing her on the campaign trail this past week is just unbelievable. Her energy, confidence, and delivery are just astounding. Where has THIS Kamala been?! I haven’t been this excited to vote since 2008.

 Same. I'm getting Obama '08 vibes from some of their rallies. Walz was a great pick. She can totally win this (and by a lot if she plays her cards right).

Walz is the perfect choice. I'm beyond excited. And watching Trump going into a complete meltdown is delicious to watch.

Michelle Obama gave an arousing speech. She could have been a great US president. Too bad she was married to one.

This was probably one of the greatest speeches in recent politics history in USA. She had one job and did it fantastic.

Alot of people fall for doom and gloom especially the very religious ones and are struggling financially. Trump taps into their psyche.

Democracy is at stake. it's not like in 2016. anyone who doesn't realize this hasn't done their research. I can't even imagine anyone who is at this forum voting for that wannabe dictator

No more blowjobs for whomever votes for Orange Mussolini.

I saw him referred to as "Coppertone Caligula" a few weeks back on Reddit, that is my new favorite nickname.
