Unfortunately this was very much the idea of him. And some people still believe it. Truth is, he is an investor and he WAS pretty good at seeing the potential of certain products or businesses. But he has not invented anything. At this point he has even become a liability for his "own" companies. The board of Tesla already put a gag order on him because they are so worried about the things he says. Problem: the association Tesla = Musk is there and therefore many people would never buy a Tesla, even if this product would be the greatest thing ever, which it is most definitely not (outdated designs, quality issues, features that were sold but do not work). And then there is X / Twitter. A huge financial mistake on his part, simply because his ego got so out of bounds.

To call him out on certain issues is a waste of time. Musk is showing all signs of several personality disorders. Most above all he is a megalomaniac of epic proportions. The reason he has so many children is not because he loves to have children or his desire to take care of children it is merely to present himself as some kind of alpha male that is super frugal. His procreation efforts are only meant to produce more of himself. It is all about himself. The same with that Russian guy of Telegram who has allegedly more than 100 children by via sperm donarship. 

Instead of producing more children, he should concentrate on his businesses. X is a financial desaster, Tesla has huge sales problems and is severely overvalued, Space X is probably a money pit and his other projects like The Boring Company are going nowhere. And don't get me started on Neuralink (which is a merely on the same level as many other studies on several universities around the world). Such product in the hands of a man who shall not be trusted, I find spooky.

To be honest, the lack of his acceptance is the best part of that child's trans inheritance, and she should thank her lucky stars. It means she doesn't have to care about him; it means the scales were destined to fall from her eyes. I have to imagine it would be much more difficult to have a psychopathic loser for a parent if they did love and accept and support you.

He is most likely never going to bring those to the streets. As most of his projects in the last years, nothing ever comes to fruition. The fact that he uses "cheap" technology for those self-driving cars should be alarming. His cars are using camera technology which is nowhere as safe as the sensoring technologies all his competition uses. Competition that is far ahead in technology. Only his fanboys think differently. He will continue selling his 90s looking Teslas for a long time and it will be his downfall. Instead of spying on his German employees on sick leave, he should concentrate on a design overhaul of his cars.

Well, the other three built their companies from the ground up. Musk, as much as his fan boys wants to paint him as an inventor, is merely an investor, who was lucky to put money (he comes from a rich family) in companies at the right time. At least that was the case until many years ago. With the exception of Space X (which is probably not making money at this point), all his other companies are failing. He overpaid for Twitter, decimated the value of X ever since. Tesla is and has alwas been heavily overvalued and Wallstreet is finally waking up to that fact, which will ultimately lead to falling share prices. The other companies? After big announcements, silence. In many ways, he is a big pretender, just like Donald Trump. And both suffer from the same mental issues. Megalomanicas, Sociopaths ...
