Raider of the lost Ark
Elon Musk can go fuck himself. Just like Donald Trump he is one of the worst human beings to ever grace this planet. Another egomaniac. And he has a cult like following like Trump. Both lying about their so called achievements. One says he is a billionaire, when it should be very obvious at this point he is clearly not. Thinks he is one of the greatest builders of all time when all "his" buildings have no architectual significance whatsoever unless one thinks mediocre or subpar design and downright ugliness (Trump Tower) are of any imporance. Well, they come as warnings. The other one may be rich, filthy rich. But he is not this great inventor his followers often claim he is. From my perspective he is merely an investor and was lucky when he got into projects at the right time. But is he really that good? Future will tell. But at this very moment, most of his projects are not going too well. He basically paid (had to pay) more than 40 billion dollars for Twitter because of his ego he made a serious mistake by making an offer that made no sense financially. Tesla is not delivering as expected and is highly over-valued. They are still selling their 90s looking models and the only new "car" is that super ugly truck for a target group of men with tiny genitalia and men with anger issues. His cult followers often say: BUT the software is far more advanced. They refer to autonomous driving. Problem, it does not work properly (yet they are selling their cars with this feature, which is basically lying from my perspective) and fact is other car companies have developed way better technologies to deal with this in the future. What else? That tunnel thing is going nowhere. Neurolink is no better than other systems in development at universities around the globe. SpaceX, some technologies work, some not. Trump and Musk, two of the worst things the U.S. have ever created.
Ciccone's Cheeks
Ya, what T did was illegal & he should be found guilty (but most of us knew this EIGHT years ago) but *optics (timing) for this trial are a disaster! Everyone I know who loathes Trump/Maga & will never vote him but feel the same way. Which 'base' is this shit gonna fire up?! Biden's? Uhh..no lol Maga is gonna come out mob style w/ tiki torches and gallows now in November! Having this trial out of them all barely FIVE months before an election ffs? WHY not *any time in 2021-23? Biden and his AG are dreadful. But I give all the black DAs and AGs major props (& Jack Smith too) for at least having balls and being (or attempting to be) pro active & getting shit DONE w/ this city cockroach thug lol but BIDENs Federal Govt INACTION has been an absolute raging voter suppression machine. That and Biden simply being a sustained dreadful orator, disconnected/dear headlights, bumbling, wobbly zombie demeanor, feckless bag of bones! Basically day one his own voting base *pleaded w/ him NOT.to.run. again. You fng listen! lol for the sake of the world and highly likely win the election w/ that other candidate. Horrifying and sickening but this is vibing af like a likely (maybe decisive) Trump win!

Raider of the lost Ark
It always amazes me how all the MAGA people complain that everything has become so damn expensive (Because inflation is of course Joe Bidens fault, ignoring that there is inflation around the world as well and worse than in the U.S.. Even more funny, at this point the high prices for groceries are not even related to inflation currently since inflation is at a healthy 2% level, it is because U.S. capitalism is working perfectly well, which means maximising profits for shareholders) and yet they are donating money to Trump to cover his legal bills or buy all this Trump merch at his rallies. Most merch clearly made in China. By the way, the spin of this trial in U.S. media is insane and the quality of journalism is downright horrible. Watching CNN recently, which desperately tries be be fair and balanced and therefore inviting all those MAGA loons, is the perfect example. Those MAGA people go on air speaking nonsene and are hardly ever interrupted or corrected by CNN anchors or hosts. Just yesterday they had a lawyer (former DA or something?) talking about the verdict and that he has difficulties understanding the verdict because the prosecution did not proof the underlying crime of breaking campaign finance laws. A very weird statement from a so called lawyer. He was charged with and found guilty in 34 cases of falsifying business records. That's it. That's all the prosecution had to proof. So why does this lawyer come up with such statement? A) He is stupid and does not understand the law or is unable to read the documents of this case or B) it is gaslighting to cast a doubt on the legitimacy of the case, the go to strategy for Trump. People wonder about timing of such cases. First of all, investigation takes time and it makes perfect sense that in Trumps case the prosecution wants to have everything correct, super correct (not that MAGA loons will believe it anyway, as Trump himself claimed, he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and thy would not care). Secondly, and more importantly, it is because Trump uses every legal loophole to delay such cases. Just look at the three federal cases. Georgia: the case is stalled because they try to get rid of the prosecutor (a tactic they tried in his NY cases as well, if not the prosecutor then the judge). Insurrection case: immunity claim before the highly corrupt Supreme Court. Florida Classified documents case: Judge Aileen Cannon, a Trump appointed federal judge not doing her job, not even deciding on motions that have no real significance or impact to the case and are merely there for procedual matters. Not doing her job to protect witnesses by rejecting a gag order for Trump. It is unclear if she is corrupt or if she is way out of her league in this position. Keep in mind, higher courts have already overturned some of her decisions in this case. As far as I remember there have been issues in regards to her nomination citing her lack of understanding of the law and her severe lack of experience making her unfit for such position. As one can see, the timing issue is usually a result of Trumps "use" of the law. A tactic he has used for ages. Probably a lesson his buddy Roy Cohn taught him. Cyber-Raga
@Raider of the lost Ark I do concur with your analysis and assessment for the most part. However, there are a few things which work in Agent Orange’s favor and could have been avoided had the Dems played it differently: - by nature the liberals / progressives do rarely agree on anything. They fight and debate and compromise. The other side is much much better at agreeing on the same message in unison and then also messaging it across the board simultaneously so that there is no discussion or room for interpretation what to believe. - I’m sorry but Merrick Garland has been a waste of time. Yes, you want to make it right and collecting evidence takes some time. However, always trying to preserving appearance so that he can present himself as being impartial (“when they go low we go high” kind of a thing) this really does not work with a fascist and his followers in my opinion. You know the other side would have jailed Biden and convicted him 10 times already, yet when it’s “their guy” they play the snowflakey victim card. My two cents. Having said that, moderate conservatives can be convinced to not vote for Trump by either sitting this one out or by voting for Biden. Trump’s conviction has no effect on Maga loons and as we see it fuels them to fundraise and what have you. But those 10-20% of Never Trumpers can actually be persuaded thanks to the Jan 6 and documents case and thanks to his conviction as being a felon to actually vote for Biden. It has always going to be a tight race and yes every margin matters. So we shall see.

I don't think the Biden team planting Bobby D out there exactly helped matters as well. On the other hand though I don't really see how being guilty is still a good luck for him. I imagine with all the appeals he'll file and him going on and on about how everything is rigged the next few months that's enough to turn off some independents. Ciccone's Cheeks
^Ya meant to add something about DeNiro. Omg CRINGE lol. Ended up a total flimsy, terrible (desperate) optics, messy ah dud. But it's more on Biden and his campaigns (+ the Dem party) inability to show up strong combating Maga. They have ED at best doing it lol. Obv. DeNiro is an absolute living legend but this was useless, non impactful & already forgotten. WHO's mind will 'that' change? MUCH rather have Liz Cheney (and the like) esp very senior people from Trumps own cabinet be 'out there' taking shit about him. All about those old school McCain and Bush sane Republicans on the fence who would listen to a Liz Cheney etc...& possibly consider grinding their teeth this ONE time and voting for Biden ( but entirely *against Trump) This entire election is 2016 x 100. Gotta be in full denial or a coma if one doesn't think the thug Maga machine (Fox, ELON, etc..) is NOT gonna pull a full Comey letter dirty tricks to f things up (on Biden) those last few crucial weeks even if they have to drop deep fakes, AI etc etc... Dirtiest, filthiest election ever...like anywhere in the world next 5 months.

To be fair, Comey (a lifelong Republican) was working for the FBI under the Obama administration in 2016 when his infamous letter came out. Polls I've seen since the conviction only moved the needle a smidge. I think Biden might have gained +1 or 2 points in the polls, but it is still within the margin of error. I don't think most people believed the conviction would change many people's opinions. The Trumpers are baked in with their opinions of him. Biden's only shot is to unify the Democratic base which will prove challenging with the Gaza ordeal plus the public's issue with his age. But there's always hope. Personally, I think the Gaza thing is a legit issue for Biden, but if people don't vote for Biden or sit the election out, they just elect Trump and he wants Gaza to be wiped out completely, so choose your path wisely, American voters. jonski43
I think Biden himself is the biggest threat to the democrats. He's just too old and recent behaviour will just push floating voters towards Trump. They've already been through one Trump government so they know what they're getting.
Raider of the lost Ark
If it wasn't for the electoral college, this wouldn't be such a stressful situation. The fact that it comes down to a few ten thousand votes in a handful of states because of an ancient system is just ridiculous. You may have 10 million more votes and still loose the election. When was the last time Republicans won the popular vote? In the 90s, George W. Bush (senior)? While Bidens record is outstanding, unfortunately his appearance is doing harm. I don't think he is senile, but he is moving like an 81 year old and this gives the wrong impression and of course gives political enemies enough material to spin negative stories and of course doctor the material to make him look even more senile, crumbling, whatever. Is all of this fair? No. But unfortunately this is the society we live in. Especially when one side has no boundaries anymore. It's all about manipulation, all about lies. Therefore, a one-term presidency would have been a great legacy for him. Now, it is a gamble for the future of the democracy in the U.S.. So unneccessary. If they had chosen people like Gretchen Whitmer or Gavin Newsom, even Pete Buttigieg, this would be a shoe-in. Considering the situation with the Supreme Court, the democratics party biggest aim must be a presidency, a majority in congress and the senate to finally get things done and to make changes. I think a super majority is needed to make changes to the constitution, so this is hardly possible. But extent the number of judges on the supreme court, pass laws that are important. Raider of the lost Ark
And what about that law in Louisiana that requires schools to display the 10 commandments in class rooms? Louisiana is ranking 49 in education. As some commentator on CNN said, with such bad education and therefore a high number of students that are illeterate, they may not even be able to read the 10 commandments. Which might be a saving grace.
