The Italian media-mogul-turned politician, who served three terms as the country’s prime minister, has been admitted to Milan’s San Raffaele clinic after he reportedly contracted the virus in Sardinia. Berlusconi, who is 83, spent the night in hospital in Milan where he has been diagnosed with being in the early stages of double pneumonia, Italy’s ANSA news agency reported on Friday. He is not in intensive care, according to Sky Italia news. Berlusconi had been quarantining in his residence at Arcore, after returning from a holiday Sardinia. His 30-year-old girlfriend, Marta Fascina, a politician with his conservative Forza Italia party, has also tested positive for coronavirus, as have his son Luigi and daughter Barbara, according to Italian press reports. There is speculation in the Italian media that Berlusconi may have contracted the virus from either one of children or possibly from flamboyant Italian entrepreneur Flavio Briatore, a former Formula One team boss who owns Sardinia’s Billionaire nightclub, known for its wild disco parties packed with celebrities which has become a COVID-19 hotspot. Briatore, who has tested positive and was also hospitalized, visited Berlusconi at his villa in Sardinia. Berlusconi’s Forza Italia party is vying for votes in six Italian regional elections later this month having formed a coalition with the country’s far-right League and Brothers of Italy forces. Meanwhile his Mediaset TV group on Thursday was hit by a ruling that handed over a major victory to France’s Vivendi in their long running dispute. The court said that an Italian law that had been forcing Vivendi to forfeit a portion of its voting rights connected to a stake they hold in Mediaset was against EU rules. Reality is that MORE have died of covid than reported in almost all countries. You can simply search how many people died in the same month in past years and compare to 2020. The curve is rising again in Canada because of these poor idiots who are unable to respect simple instructions for social distancing and with its manifestation they have just increased the number of potential cases. Too bad we don't have a centralized system for transmitting police information through all the hospital system, because it would have been worth the trouble to control ALL these assholes and deny them medical treatment if they show up to the hospital with COVID in a few weeks. We would have seen at this moment if they would still have believed that the virus is a hoax. Therefore, several restrictions that have applied only to the Greater Copenhagen Area so far will now be implemented nationwide as of tomorrow noon, for the time being up to and including 4 October. Restaurants, bars and cafes will be required to close no later than 10 p.m. And they will be required to display signs stating their maximum capacity. Guests at restaurants, bars and cafes will be required to wear a face mask or shield, except when seated. The same requirement applies to employees who have contact with guests. The upper limit on public gatherings will be reduced from 100 to 50 people. Seated events are still excepted, with the upper limit remaining 500 people. The scheme allowing more than 500 spectators for Super League football matches will be suspended. Additionally, the Danish government recommends that everyone works from home to the extent that it is possible. The government is also strongly urging against gatherings of more than 10 people in private homes. People should limit social interactions to their very closest family and friends. It's like fine but don't ever leave the UK . EVER . In Thailand we will welcome our first bunch of tourists from 1st October . Only to the island of Phuket . 30 days min stay with 14 day hotel quarantine . Wear a mask, wash your hands , practice social distancing and we will just get through this .
