markm
I wonder if the publicity surrounding her birthday will help. I'm thinking the the UK shows can't be that far off being sold out otherwise they'd have run a TV ad campaign. You can pull up seats at all prices for Cardiff so fuck knows how many tickets are left. For Wembley there is the choice of seats in the upper tier at £65 or side view seats at £160 by the stage. I think the side view seats have been released recently now that the stage set up has been worked out. No standing or GC left.
karbatal
I can't recall when was the last time that Madonna tickets were still avalaible weeks after they were released. This whole tour is a mess, in my opinion, not because of the set list or the songs, but because she should have made her next tour with Live Nation and sell it as a scarce opportunity to watch the best idol ever. It's the first time in my life that i am not willing to go to her concerts too. Why then, if in 2010 she will tour again and will have a better album? Nightshade
I can't recall when was the last time that Madonna tickets were still avalaible weeks after they were released. Weren't tickets for Prague and Moscow still available right before those shows on TCT? It's the first time in my life that i am not willing to go to her concerts too. Why then, if in 2010 she will tour again and will have a better album? Well, she might not tour so soon again either. I never pass up a chance to see her live because I know one day I'll regret not seeing her at every opportunity I had. For all we know, she might be doing this tour to get the deal going and then wait on touring for another 3 years or so. Or she might fall off a horse again at an inopportune time and deprive us of further shows. I never take the chance...the Live Nation deal provides her with more freedom to do what she wants on her own time table, and lord knows she is a moody bitch. You have ZERO clue as to what you are talking about. Or you are just dishonest. ReInvention had tickets up til day of in some cities (but sold out). THIS IS A LIVE NATION TOUR. SHE IS NOW A LIVE NATION ARTIST. THIS TOUR SATISFIES 1 OF 3 SHE OWES THEM.
karbatal
With Confessions tickets were scarce and i couldn't get tickets to a stadium in Amsterdam until there was a second date there. In UK, tickets were sold out really soon. Face the reality and don't recall what happened in Moscow or Krakowia or if it's sold out in Madagascar, thank you very much. She will tour a lot in the future with Live Nation and i will go to the next tour if i am in the mood or i will stay home and she will be a rich woman i will be satisfied, so no sarcasm, please. Isn't it a bit delusional to expect Madonna selling out stadium shows quicker-than-a-ray-of-light in every 2 years? It's not the 80s anymore. As for the tour being a mess, why? Maybe Madonna is underperforming in the UK and she's overs saturated Germany, but it's her most extensive European tour since ever and she's visiting Latin America for the first time in 15 years. I'd hardly call any of that as a "mistake" or a "mess". Not to mention that you're getting 2 Spanish dates, she wasn't in Spain since 2001 yet you're missing out? Who knows, the next tour might be London & Paris only like the Girlie Show.

Don't forget that we all know she'll sell out London in the end, along with at least 1 of the German dates, and the rest will be like 75-80% sellout at least. Fans think each time Madonna goes on tour is like 1990 or 2001 and they think she's "over" if she "only" has 1 date in Wembley and it doesn't sell out in 2 hours. I know, she could have had at least 1 more date, but don't we know that many other female singers would kill for a sold out date in Wembley? HolidayGuy
Madonna's WTG Tour didn't even sell out Giants Stadium in 1987- it was a few hundred short or something like that. Soooo, whoop-dee-ddoo, if she doesn't sell out- she can have an attendance of 56,000 amd- boo hoo!- 300 seats weren't filled. UK radio has dropped GI2M like a bad habit. I'm forgetting- did it reach top 10 aiprlay (like No. 8)? Not a bad run on the main singles chart, though. Looking at the UK Airplay charts- it's weird seeing some tracks ranked so high with such fewer spins than tracks ranked below them - the Kooks, for instance, had loads less play than "No Air" on last week's airplay chart- yet, big-time-listened-to stations must be on it like white on rice, for it had a higher audience. Justo ne example, others are there.
