ABBA Gold has been re-issued with a new back cover, so as well as fans of the movie buying it, big ABBA collectors are adding it to their collections.

This is at least the 3rd version of Gold that has been issued. I wonder how many extra copies Madonna would have sold of TIC if Warners issued different versions every 7 years or so? :)

:lmao:

And the Kylie loons were claiming she was doing better than Madonna on the basis of it being higher the 4 Minutes.

How many weeks has 4 Minutes spent on the chart?

And to think her fans were claiming she'd beat Madonna's run of 35 top 10 hits between 1984-1994 :lmao: She couldn't even manage to exceed Madonna's second run of consecutive top 10s, 17 between 1996 and 2003 :lmao:

Where is X and Ulimate FLOP in the chart? :lmao::lmao:

Wasn't the TOUR supposed to help them both back into the top 75?

Apparently, her fans are looking on the bright side, because Ultimate FLOP is back up to number 78 on the album charts. :lmao:

Just proves her rabid fans are only interested in her GH. How much was it reduced to?

GI2M has been a BONAFIDE hit, beyond her core fanbase - top 20 as an album download only, maintaining a good position when the single comes out as well as boosting the ablum. The HC era ain't as bad as some are saying as she's holding up on individual tracks as well as maintaining steady sales of the album. My guess is Miles Away will go to radio in mid-September with a release in late-October.

Like your optimism but lets face it, GITM is a moderate seller when compared against other lead singles....unless you count 4M

GITM is great though. Wish it had done better but it isn't plummetting.

HC has a long way to go before it can be classed a success. Its sales are still very low. The time of year isn't helping either.

Are you one of *those* who don't consider "4M" as a "real" Madonna single?

Anyway, Kylie's "The One" is Top 75. I know we have all the excuses for why it's not a "real" single, but surely the label expected to have more than 1 or 2 weeks in the Top 75, right?

HC passed the 250K barrier with last week's chart.

4M should pass the 400K barrier this Sunday.

GI2M is over 80K.

Thanks and yay for Hafo being back! :D

I have never been into Justin's music just as I was never into that song she sang backing vocals on in the 80s - by Nick Kamen or someone :chuckle:

Kylie's release of The One is the biggest fuck up of her Parlophone career. One week in the top 75 is all that is expected.

Kylie's release of The Flop has proved that she can't hack it in the age of downloads and a lot of her "top 10s" were due to loons buying them for the "pretty picture sleeves". :lmao:

Would the Kylie brigade of LIMP WRISTED MINCERS and CHAVS be able to grasp the concept of downloading?

In the case of The One you are correct though Wow and 2 Hearts both sold over 100k each in downloads. Both made the top ten of the download chart. Both have "hacked it" in the age of downloads. IMA would not have made the top ten without the CD release.

Strange argument to have though. GITM only just made number 10 on the download chart once all the remixes were released in the same week as the physical. Fan buys in week one of the physical have always helped Madonna, Kylie, McFly, Westlife etc. Those days are numbered. Jump and GT both would have missed the top ten if just digital.

I know it's funny talking about new Kylie's single The Flop ( :lmao: ), but it seems this is a Kylie flop topic, not a Madonna topic anymore... :madonna2:
