Madonna selling horseback riding tours on the beach with her as a guide and recording sessions in London - of course you have to be super wealthy to afford it. Really sad. I thought this was a joke but apparently not. Indeed. And you are only able to listen to previews not the full thing.

Because before she was doing a concert. People paying to see her perform - what she is celebrated and famous for. Artists performing concerts for charity or giving their time performing at a charity concert has always happened. Riding horses in Portugal ( her personal life ) and previewing parties for her new album is going down another path. Others won't agree but just the way I feel about it.

I believe it was something about going on a trip with madonna in Brazil or something like that.. I could be wrong about how/what exactly, but this isn't anything new
boy skeffington Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 I don’t get the upset for offering special access to her in a studio or on horseback for a charity. If I remember correctly there was a trip to Peru in the Miami Art Basel offerings. It’s not like she’s performing for a king for 2 million to pocket like so many other pop stars. She really can’t win. Be it her career as a musician, charity work or commercialism...this Madonna is a form of the same Madonna I have always loved. The big difference is new media and constant consumption/access to information with a focus on outrage. The big similarity is Madonna’s unwillingness to do anything other than what Madonna wants. Her willingness to be charitable and visible for chosen cause is something she has always done in some form.

mtzlplk Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 if MADONNA's camp are in their right minds, they know that the best release schedule is November... The last studio album she released in November is COADF, and she was able to beat American Idol's Carrie Underwood for the #1 debut... Any week from Black Friday November to a week before Christmas is best...
Starman Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 I dont mind the charity thing, she raises millions for malawi. Muchc better than posting her kids on instagram
Danny Bubbles Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 I think it’s great she’s raising hundreads of thousands of dollars for charity. Some rich fuck will win an amazing experience which I resent, haha, but it is great that’s she’s raising cash. What I find upsetting is shes flogging chemicals you spray over your face for hundreads of dollars!

YannBouch Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Of course we will have like a 10 sec video of people chattering while a new songs is playing in the background.

She gets nothing out of the deal so what is the deal? Madonna cannot even be charitable without being criticized on a fan site. Geez!
YannBouch Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 It's like getting a fan on stage each night. Before rebel heart tour I would NEVER ever think something like that would be possible. But why not, YOLO
Nikki Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 doing meet and greets after or before shows.. that's something that would be weird and un madonna like.. but these little things for charity aren't a big deal to me.. she may have done similar things before the internet

If the date of the visit to the studio is in October or November depending on the availability of the winner, it is now almost assured that the album will be released next year. Few artists release albums of original songs in December.
runa Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 You must be brainwashed to think it’s normal to ask 100k for a private listening session, no matter what the cause is behind. Do I have to remember you that 0.5% of this world owns the other 95% ?

I’m pretty sure a charity concert with special guests would raise as much money. With Raising Malawi, she takes her own money to help. She makes a real difference.

But if she starts making meet and greet on her next tour, I'm really going to be discouraged. I have always been so happy that she never makes this shameful and tacky way to steal even more money from her fans.
YannBouch Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 I really cant see what is wrong with that
badboydrunkby6 Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 why do sooooo many artists put out singles waaay before full album... there should be one track at least ready to share.
rebelheart Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Why can't we just accept the album ain't coming this year... probably Jan/Feb for single & album in March/April!
functions_X Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 really don't see a problem with M doing some album preview for charity, although I doubt the highest bidder will be interested in the music

Because it keep the momentum of the campaign going. You can’t release a single and then the week later the album anymore, otherwise the campaign is dead and everyone forgets.
Sloane Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 As long as she doesn't start doing dictator shows which, given her politics, I doubt she'd ever do. TOAC was charity so it's not like we havent been down this road already. Also, no lady gogi Kohls decor meet and greets. Luckily she despises us unwashed plebs too much to do something like THAT.
Icykiller Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 I think she'll release a single this year, at best. Album goes for Q1 of 2019.
