Of all the pictures you could have pulled out this is the one you should never trot out as a sign of surgery. This is one of the dozen occasions in the course of the past 6 years where you could have said, OK why? And a dozen occasions in 6 years time when you are past 40 or 50 is nothing. It's just a case of too much face pumping/filler time, much like Chime For Change at Twickenham stadium last year. And for that event in particular we need to take into account jet leg and being sun-lit in an open-air venue at 3 in the afternoon. Plus the less than spectacular make up work of course. I think the closest thing she's done to a radical procedure were those ugly cheek implants in 2008/2009. From 2011 onwards she started looking a lot better again. Don't pull out the bloated face pictures as a sign of surgery please And if there is one A-list name who's got a reputation for not enjoying being surrounded by yes-men it's Madonna Not sure what you are referring to in your post. If she was a dimwit, someone oblivious and opposed to criticism or other people's input and wanted people to kiss her ass and say yes all the time she'd have vanished a long time ago. Showbusiness is rife with such stories. You only need to stroll through other parts of this forum to get blatant examples. Madonna is the template for the exception. I'll never understand the decision to go bigger and bigger. I specifically remember the shit really hitting the fan in this forum at the Berlindale 2008 when she unveiled...
