Anyway, if it´s helping the album sales, that´s good.And I don´t understand how can somebody say that it´s not a good choice for a single in the UK.this song was screaming single from the beginning! If you mean it wouldn't reach the Top 5, then you're right, nobody expects that, but it would definitely help Hard Candy as a ballad opens the record for new audiences.
