As per Warner's, it's shipped (including digital) 3 million.

Retailwise, it's around 2.1 - 2.2 million.

or we can look at it this way too (just to put things into perspective, where is HC actually most popular?)

based on current sales totals for different major markets (excluding those that only pointed out cert. for ship amounts and no real sales numbers) (% out of the total population that have bought HC)

1. UK : 0,37 %

2. Canada : 0,35%

3. France : 0,27%

4. Germany : 0,24%

5. Italy : 0,19% (a little higher than US)

6. US : 0,19 %

7. Japan : 0,17%

:demonic:

= So we are all saying that she is underperforming in the UK?, yet they are the nation that shows the album most love (out of the major markets that is).

That is good data, however, you can to be a bit analytical there.

1) France, Germany, Italy and Japan have their own language and therefore the market for English-speaking artists is not the same as the US, UK and Canada, so the comparison there is unfair

You surely can't expect a nation that speaks a language other than English to have Engligh -speaking artists selling most CDs?

2) It's true that more people of the UK total population % bought HC, but also the UK is the market were more CDs are bought per person, so I dont think it is a marker for success.

3) Comparing sales of HC and COADF, we can see that HC is really underperforming in the UK, has dropped to 20s in the chart, while holding in the top 10 in France and Italy.

Obviously you're right but I just pointed out. It's an interesting way of looking at it.

Week 8 in Greece, down to #7 (from #4) in the international chart and to #31 (from #22) in the combined.

It's close to platinum in Greece?

Up to #4 in Czech Republic and repeats at #5 in Switzerland! Chartwise, these two countries along with Mexico are the only places in which HC is still Top 5.

I have no idea. It's the first time she comes to Greece, so I assume it will be eventually. Possibly by end of September, it's reasonable to expect that they will ship more copies of the cd around that time.
