Well, that's cool! :D

I bet Dolly Parton is so fucking happy she let Whitney redo her song! ahahaha! That bitch probably made more $$ off Whitney, than she made herself!

That's a slight understatement :) - IWALY earned Dolly Parton an absolute truckload of money, both from physical sales and airplay worldwide. We're talking millions and millions of dollars here...

Ugh.. I bet that bitch has enough money now, she could live forever, getting new boobs every Tuesday.

Who made more money off of it? Whitney or Dolly?

After Whitney's version of IWALY became a hit, Dolly won a songwriting award for it. During her acceptance speech, she joked by thanking Whitney for keeping the IRS off her back that year.

Labels don't seem to be too interested in certifying digital singles. However, in February, over 30 singles were certified.

Here are the latest certs:

 Some singles appear two different gold certifications in two different dates. "Low" by Flo-Rida is one of them. Does this both Gold's means Gold in Digital and Gold in Physical???

Most wanted song of the month? cool. So it has to peak 120M AI like Touch my bulldog. Not fair this gap. Banzai Madonna! Up to the sky!

It is shaping up to be like this in the HOT100 in less than 24 hours...

1. Bleeding Love

2. No Air

3. Lollipop

4. 4 Minutes

5. Love In This Club

6. Touch My Body

note that this is assuming 4 Minutes sales is down to 200k

:lmao:

it's Most Wanted by listeners and not by program directors...

have you noticed those songs who have over 200K sales? Only 4 Minutes is the one languishing in the airplay department...

yeah I second that feeling Though my local top 40 stations play 4 Minutes alot

the 144 POP Stations that have spun her is giving her the 33.58M audimps out of that 43M that we have now...

although all POP stations have played her during the past 7 days, it just haven't maxed yet, it is slowly climbing still...

but to be honest, 3 weeks of 200k worth of downloads must send signals to these POP stations already that US listeners love this song and they should start playing it to the max now...

Here in San Antonio, Texas

KTFM has her @ #14

KXXM has her @ #16

on their playlists

HOWEVER<

4m is constantly #1 on KTFM during their daily countdown

4m is constantly in the TOP TEN on KXXM

and with all that....still NOT A BIG SPINNER

so MTZ, is so right. Radio is NOT responding...oh well

Is it plataeuing already? It's just annoying and unbelievable, right? 200k+ download average for 3 weeks (going on 4) and yet it is growing at a pace as if the song has maxed already...

Did one of this song peak under 80 or 70M AI?

The older is 38 (39?), can't recall mammoth's age, she's not 40. So there's something wrong about 40 +. too bad people are on their way lo live until 120 in occident.

for US radio, you're over after 40. will we have to stop listening radio for aquagym. It'll be tough for MC to release Touch my 50 years body. I'm glad Madge is breaking the wall. not easy.

F@ck US radios too ! The + than 25 years old DJ should be trashed from radios and after the 25 limit should have to sell sudoku's books at Barnes and Nobles, so they'd understand how stupid they are. Watch Nip/Tuck and buy a brain DJs!

Based on airplay through yesterday, Madonna needs to sell this many copies more than her competition in order to outrank them on this week's Hot 100 (songs are listed in order of "threat level," plus I've included my own take on Madonna's chances):

1. Leona - 37,000 copies (Madonna has no chance)

2. Jordin - 72,000 copies (Madonna has little or no chance)

3. Usher - 99,000 copies (40% chance)

4. Lil Wayne - 43,000 copies (50% chance)

5. Mariah - 84,000 copies (55% chance)

6. Ray J - 77,000 copies (65% chance)

My guess - 4M moves 180,000 copies this week and ends up at #4 (unbulleted) on the Hot 100
