Jazzy Jan Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 They talked again about the fall at the Brit Awards. I don't mean to be Debbie Downer, but I think it sucks that the performance that got the most attention is the one where she fell. She's not getting asked about the Grammy performance. But I like seeing her with Ellen. They have good chemistry together. I know what you are getting at but don't let it worry you. It was a major talking point and people really admired Madonna for getting up and continuing. When something is out of the ordinary, people are always going to discuss it.
MLVC82 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Can I just say the audience...the whole vibe....and ellen......just seemed so BLAH!.....thank God for Guillermo Diaz
Guest Rocco Papa Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I had a feeling it was Ellen under that cape!!
Nikki Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 eh i don't like ellen. she can entertain a bit and give them what they want but when M talks about kanye and how he's great for being politically incorrect and thats what the people need sometimes she says "hes a genius" again. its obvious she just says what is easy to say
ryan Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Can I just say the audience...the whole vibe....and ellen......just seemed so BLAH!.....thank God for Guillermo DiazI disagree
Starman Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Was that another wardrobe malfunction on the sleeve
tuckeye Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 awe thought she do the new music...so once again i am surprised, lol. it shall be a glorious week!

Maybe she thinks the guy is a loser but she's not exactly going to say that.
madmark Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 L4L with Ellen walking in at the end was soooooo good, haha
tuckeye Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 the audience? really, lol. its the states for one. but everything else about the performance and interview bout cap was magical....right.
Cesky Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Can't believe she's doing TAB. I love that song. Lolz there is no real indication that she's doing TAB. Do not get excited for that. It would be amazing, though, of course
madmark Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I'd rather all new songs from Rebel Heart performed TBH... but I guess we'll see...
mtzlplk Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 someone put this up in YouTube please... thanks...
Bill Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I'm heartbroken about being foolish enough to get excited over her doing Take a Bow.
DanM Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Well I won't be sad if I don't have to see another ITG performance. Take a Bow on the other hand…
vocalism Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Wait, is it all online already? Doesn't it air at 4pm?
mdna2012 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I think whoever made that setlist is taking the show's play on song titles literal. For example: Weds. listing for Ellen: Then, it's "Like a Prayer" was answered… MADONNA is back to take the stage! Whether it's a classic hit or new work, Madonna Week gets amplified when the 7-time Grammy winner brings the room to its feet with an exclusive performance for Ellen! This Wednesday, Ellen will get "into the groove!" and here's Friday's listing: Plus, Madonna Week concludes with another amazing performance by the pop superstar… MADONNA will "Take a Bow" with one more epic tune! You will “cherish" every moment this Friday on Ellen!
Guest bluejean Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I think they're just making up shit. I'm not expecting any classics. She's there to promote Rebel Heart.
nick00 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 LFL was pretty amazing I would be surprised if M did not perform at least one or two older songs this week on the show.
cosmic_system Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I'm pretty sure she's there also to promote the tour, so two tracks from the new album and two classics are just the best option and a great idea.
markm Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 If she performed a classic it would be a great way to sell tickets for the toour. A big hit that people love and can relate to.

Mmmmm Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 How many viewers does Ellen get? Does it boost album sales?
Guest bluejean Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Into The Groove. It needs a comeback in its original form.
Arnian Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I would imagine it would help. Has to be better than not doing anything the second week of MDNA's release. I keep hoping something from this era will stick or hit the public zeitgeist so to speak. This album is too good for it to not be successful.
Phineaspoe Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 It's an amazing performance, but does she seriously think she's going to get the general public to listen to LFL based on the techno version instead of the original? Or does she think she'll sell more tour tickets with a dancier version of the song? She already knew based on the Grammys performance that it didn't work. I'm genuinely asking because I don't get the decision, and maybe you guys see something I don't. And also, I would love to hear the original version live once in my life. She seriously hasn't even bothered!!
