Flip The Switch Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Whenever I'm listening to this wonderful song I imagine a video like the caos-destruction parts of the Love Profusion video. It would be dreamy for this song to become a single with a "the world is ending" type of video.
qans1990 Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 So...... I just put this song on and after 5 seconds my older son who is 7 shouts from his room "I love this song!!!" He's only heard it maybe 2 or 3 times. And then my other son who is 6 says " yeah me too, and daddy I heard this song in music today!" Apparently the younger generation loves this song and it's spreading like wildfire. I'm thinking maybe it should be a single. That is so adorable, and great!
5iVe Elements Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 I can't help but cry listening to this. It's so beautiful. I wonder who is the backing vocal in the end.
scottyenzed Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 I love Ghosttown, I first though it was about Detroit... it's such a good song, very 80s madonna I can picture the video in the ruins of Detroit that would be epic!!

This really is beautiful song and I am listening to it on repeat ( as with most of the other 6 songs as well )
svperstar Posted December 24, 2014 Author Posted December 24, 2014 She said in the Billboard interview she pictured a video for it. Perhaps it's a sign!
Tvat Jens Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 It's amazing, in my top 3 of the new songs
loomer Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Yes. Right off the bat on first play I thought this was special and harkened back to classic Madonna. I honestly think this will pick up rogue airplay and usurp LFL as first single. This and DWP are in a different league to the rest of the dirty half dozen, which is no mean feat as they all great.

I think that's very likely. LFL is my least favourite of the 6.
runa Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 I think that's very likely. LFL is my least favourite of the 6. Don't say that!!! LFL is LIFE !!!!!!!!!
scottyenzed Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 This is the best of six tracks although they are all excellent
Nikki Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 could she still make this a second or other single despite the pre-order?
ITG Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 When the world gets cold...... ......gets me every time, so beautifully sung
mgreece Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Best thing I ve heard from M since Get Together. It ll be a shame if this isn't reliesed as a single with an epic video
Guest TearsInHeaven Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 I imagine a video a la Secret with M walking on a desert street in a very beautiful coat, all filmed in black and white
blossom Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Ghosttown is epic and lyrically / vocally alongside the likes of 'You'll See', 'Crazy For You' and very nearly comes close to the mighty, all conquering 'Live To Tell'. It is a beautiful thing indeed.
Shane Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Ghosttown is epic and lyrically / vocally alongside the likes of 'You'll See', 'Crazy For You' and very nearly comes close to the mighty, all conquering 'Live To Tell'. It is a beautiful thing indeed. Spot on.
Mightycomfort Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Spot on. I just love this song so much. I want it to be a single and have a video so badly. Surely there's a Hollywood blockbuster using this as a theme song in 2015?
Nikki Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 yeah i keep picturing a very cinematic video or movie for it.
Shane Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 This track makes me think of the fuck wads who say "she's not a good singer." Oh yes she is! The finest.
smeowly Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 i live for the "ahhh-ahhh" parts at the verses.
Shane Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 i live for the "ahhh-ahhh" parts at the verses. YES! "Ahhh-ahhh" is the new "mmmm mmmm"
LSD Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 All comparisons to Live To Tell are on the money...that pause before the stunning bridge
qans1990 Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 YES! "Ahhh-ahhh" is the new "mmmm mmmm" And don't forget 'ooooh oooooh' (DP), 'yeeaaaah yeeaaah yeah' (UB) and 'nanananana' (BIM) They are also contenders for the new 'mmmm mmmm'
smeowly Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 YES! "Ahhh-ahhh" is the new "mmmm mmmm" i wish she had done more "ahhh-ahhhs" as the song ended. it would have been so perfect!
