I love the things she has written by the mini-autobiography in Harpers Bazaar and her tribute to David Collins. Her writing style is amazing, very down to earth, straightforward but still insightful. I don't think she could completely leave out her relationships but I don't think she would want to or should go into too much detail. I think famous people writing about their relationships can be problematic. How do you do that in a honest way but without hurting other people and invading their privacy? It's one thing to write about people who have a similiar access to the media and fame that you do like with her Sean Penn or Warren Beatty, but what about writing about people that aren't as well known and can't really tell their side of the story if you write stuff about them? Writing about your relationships with them in great detail can be sort of unfair to them because people will always listen to the more famous person and not have a chance to hear the other person's side. They've both come out the other end and look back at those days with a certain fondness. I doubt he'll be offended or upset by anything she'd say now, it's all water under the bridge. She will clearly mention Carlos and Guy as they fathered two of her children and the latter was a former spouse but I doubt she'll go into a lot of detail to protect the dignity of her children. As for the others... well... I think the '80s and '90s lovers will feature with a certain fondness, except Vanilla Ice and Dennis Rodman who will either go unmentioned altogether (the ultimate snub) or just get a mere passive aggressive sentence or two each. Which brings us to the Jesuses, Brahims and Timors. I hope she'll come clean and state that at that point in her life she was not looking for companionship necessarily because she had been fulfilled by her children, friends and was burnt many times by former lovers & husbands and that with the on-going string of boyfriends the mere purpose is a penis attached to a hot body and not much more. I think people like: Dan Gilroy Jean Micheal Sean Penn Carlos Guy Ritchie Would get plenty of paragraphs and chapters. I'm sure there would be a few mentions of who she was seeing after the divorces. I remembered reading an interview with her years ago where she said she thought the idea of a autobiography was disgusting then I read an interview with her years later when they asked her about it and she said " Never say Never." When you read the letters she wrote to friends etc before she was famous, they are very detailed, expressive, fun and full of life. I loved her recent tribute to David Collins and I truly think an auto-biography by her would be incredible. I doubt she would trash her former husbands/boyfriends as she has already exposed their relationships through her music.
