Nessie Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Just because you're not attending the Rome there's no need for you to bitch about it. Not even for Confessions did she sell 70,000 tickets. If she ends up selling 50,000 tickets, it'll be a huge success especially considering that she had alreafy sold 40,000 tkts in Florence and more than 45,000 in Milan. Stop the bitching. Start celebrating. PS ...oh and by the way you can still apply for a management position at Live Nation since you're so good.
axisvor Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Source? And capacity for Olimpico is 70.000. I don't think they'll sell 30.000 tickets in 2 days. All the sections but prato A (golden circle) are still available. It's not Madonna's fault. Although i love Europe, the economy is falling apart there, Italy very much included. And Titadonna is an expensive lady!

XXL Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 From Madonnatribe Madonna left Instanbul on Saturday afternoon and landed in Rome in the early evening to start her week-long Italian journey that will see her perform at the Olympic Stadium on Tuesday, at Milan's San Siro on Thursday and in Florence on Saturday. She already found quite a few fans waiting for her at the hotel, and when she arrived escorted by policemen on motorbikes her cars drove right through the hotel's gate; it was basically impossible to spot her getting down her SUV because she was screened with a black umbrella.
Louise Oriole Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Italians I hope the crowd is wild again, maybe she'll pop a tit out again.
Guest Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 For your records: Confessions Tour 2006 Roma (Stadio Olimpico) - Sold Out 63,054 Sticky & Sweet Tour 2008 Roma (Stadio Olimpico) - Sold Out 57,690 Sticky & Sweet Tour 2009 Milano (San Siro) - Sold Out 55,338 Udine (Stadio Friuli) - Sold Out 28,362 Also, don't expect much hype about her Italians shows this time. She pretty much has the media against her, W.E. hit the cinemas last Friday and it's being shread to bits, and also a good part of her fans are not as supportive as usual. I honestly don't expect any of the images from the Istanbul stadium to be beated soon.

MDNA in Italy is the best chart-run and both Give me all your luvin and girl gone wild are hit in the radios. The show of Rome should have a smaller audience than in 2008, but that we already expected, since the date was announced after the shows in Milan and Florence had almost sold out. Italy is very receptive to Madonna and I really doubt this time will be different.

Louise Oriole Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 I don't know, the media might be against her and I won't be surprised if the shows are called "flops" by those just waiting to attack her (just as the UK press goes after her)-they would probably do that anyhow if they see an empty seat, but if she has at least 40k in Rome and 40-45k each in Florence and Milan, that's at least 120,000+ tickets sold in Italy in one tour (and one leg). For those in Italy, has the media always been against her there? It seems Italians (the public) still embrace her even though she's older.

If you still believe it's a smash..good fro you.

And Titadonna is an expensive lady! I'm not saying it's her fault, but maybe doing an extra show in an arena (like she's doing in NY) was a better idea than doing 3 shows in stadium with her prices.
Nikki Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Meanwhile im drunk at the airportin Brussels i knew it
Love Spent Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Madonna and Brahim Zaibat were spotted last night having dinner at the Molto restaurant in Rome. Brahim Zaibat was seen walking around with a cane after he injured himself during one of the previous MDNA Tour shows. http://www.madonnara...25-hq-pictures/ Looks like her roots have been touched up.

Narendra Sen Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Brahim Zaibat was seen walking around with a cane after he injured himself during one of the previous MDNA Tour shows. Because of the high heels he wears during the GGW performance? Oh, and Brahim with a cane makes Madonna look like she's dating an old man (older than her). Fabulous.
Nessie Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 What a face! And her hair finally looks well cared! Im loving it all!!!
