And who are these "people".................... I really hope this is EPIC! she hasn't worked so much on a tour since confessions...I think? Msig
Intro/Masterpiece Masterpiece (Video Interlude) [...] Any more doubts?? Why would "Masterpiece" be an interlude? Dago Gonzalez may have done the videos for "Paradise (Not for Me)" (DWT) and "Bedtime Story" (RIT), but apart from the Sweet Machine Intro, all the videos he did on the Sticky & Sweet were for songs that were performed live on stage: Beat Goes On, Vogue, Into the Groove, Borderline, She's Not Me, Music, the entire Gypsy section (apart from "Rain"), Like a Prayer, Ray of Light and Give It 2 Me. mdna2012
Now i hope those who paid attention to the the setlist i posted almost 2 weeks ago believe me.... http://www.madonnarama.com/posts-en/2012/05/10/the-mdna-world-tour-2012-setlist-spoilers-part-4-exclusive/ Just like any recent Madonna show, the MDNA Tour will again feature incredible backdrop videos! The footage for the interlude backdrops have already been shot and the videos are currently in post-production. Madonnarama can reveal that Best Friend, Justify my Love and Nobody Knows me will be the three interlude backdrops for this tour! The Justify my Love video interlude says one thing: Dita is back! Madonna is being chased by carnival freaks who are wearing different masks, but goes hiding in a room to enjoy herself! It has the same feel as the Truth or Dare by Madonna commercial to it and is very sexy. According to our sources, the video is a metaphor for everybody trying to take advantage of Madonna, judge her or exploit her private life. Instead, Madonna chooses to lock herself up in a room to escape from it all and to indulge in her own fantasies. All this in a very sexy setting! The backdrop videos for the first Transgression section are very dark and deal a lot with violence and death. Madonnarama sources confirm that Dago Gonzalez, who directed the Paradise (Not For Me) and Bedtime Story backdrop for the Drowned World Tour and Re-Invention Tour, will again be working with Madonna for the upcoming tour! We previously reported that Basque trio Kalakan will be collaborating with Madonna and will also be featured throughout the show. The trio will be adding some extra vocals to Masterpiece to give it a unique feel, so it shouldnt come as a surprise if we reveal that the footage for the Masterpiece backdrop is inspired by the Basque Country. Some of the scenes including traditional dancing, locations and costumes have already been shot. The next days, more footage will be filmed, including Madonna close-ups and group choreographies by the MDNA Tour dancers. Nessie
I`m ok with Candy Shaap... everythaaaang is never enough Human Nature can retire, Best Friend should never be there, Celebration isn`t the new Holiday no matter how much she wants us to believe that, Masterpiece should be left as a golden globe winner and that`s it. Vogue is essential. Impressive Instant is a must. Some Girls and Justify My Love should be actually performed, not some video interlude. And Bad Girl/Thief of Hearts totally fits the transgression theme. Then it would be perfect.

promise to try
IV. BASQUE Intro/Masterpiece Masterpiece (Video Interlude) Secret Open Your Heart (contains elements of “Sagarra Jo” by Kalakan) Like a Prayer I’m a Sinner (contains elements from “Gambler” and “Cyber-raga”)
Guest bluejean
Celebration isn`t the new Holiday I agree. I think she needs to make it a mix of the Celebration/Holiday so the show can close on a high. I was listening to the Benassi remix of Celebration yesterday and that would be a major anti climax. The album version has more of a feel good vibe. Better yet she could just follow up Celebration with Holiday. Holiday is THE tour classic, it never gets tired.

I quite like Celebration and of course the Benassi remix but as a tour closer I think Oakenfold's works best. And def Holiday could be mixed in better if that were the case. Although why the show wouldn't close with Turn Up the Radio intrigues me. I think an extended version of this, with that beautiful climactic bridge (a la Hung Up) would be just fine. And of course you can mix in freaking Holiday with it too! Holiday can be mixed in with everythaaang that she got!

pasqual
i dont have problem with celebration in any kind of mix but the question is how it will sound with her live vocals? or it will be again like GI2M ugly playback?
mdna2012
Although why the show wouldn't close with Turn Up the Radio intrigues me. ! Cuz "she's gonna git 'er geeee-tar and play for youuuu". Anyway, she insists on doing that song on guitar and her playing guitar on the last song would suck. But, really she should go with something stronger than celebration to close the show with.
