3. When was the last time she came there? Virgin Tour? lol. Not everyone can travel to NY and LA Madge. All the other divas even go to Knoxville, Tennessee and Birmingham, Alabama and she doesn't even bother to go to gay meccas like Seattle and Minneapolis. robster
from madonnatribe.com: Today's London Evening Standard reports about the three million people that will be treated to music acts and live televised Olympic action in free open-air festivals during the Games, with Hyde Park, Trafalgar Square and Victoria Park in Bow designated to host events. The same article gets back on a news we brought to you on October 29 - a special Madonna event to take place in July 2012. According to the Evening Standard, Madonna will play a one-off show in Hyde Park on July 11. Tickets are expected to be on sale as soon as the first week of December. If she does though, she will do Seahawk Stadium as all the arena venues are fairly small. Also, our stadium has a retractable roof, so it wouldn't get rained out. However, if she opts for San Fran or Vancouver, I can travel to either relatively easily.

Guest groovyguy
http://www.drownedmadonna.com/ According to today's edition of Italian newspaper La Nazione, Madonna will perform in Florence, Italy, in June 2012. If confirmed, this would be the second italian date of her upcoming tour. No other details are available as of now. Madonna performed in Florence during her Who's That Girl Tour back in 1987. Guest groovyguy
http://www.madonnatribe.com/news/index.php Madonna's 2012 Tour could bring the Queen of Pop back to Florence, according to an article on today's edition of La Nazione, Florence leading newspaper. The article mentions three possible dates - 12, 13 and 15 of June, meaning that the second Italian concert could take place either ahead or after the show in Milan's San Siro stadium. As of now this remains an unconfirmed report, but MadonnaTribe can add that the upcoming Madonna tour is actually being shaped with different venues in a same country, and that Florence is not the only location taken into consideration as a second Italian stop. Furthermore, the final tour schedule is likely to look pretty busy, with high chances to force Madonna to skip territories where she's always been warmly welcome, such as Japan, to make space to a long awaited return Down Under. whyme?
Madonna to open 2012 tour in Israel? Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Lady Gaga and Red Hot Chili Peppers expected to perform in Israel in summer of 2012 Raz Shechnik YNET The summer of 2012 is worth waiting for in terms of foreign artists' performances in Israel. YNET has learned that Bruce Springsteen ("The Boss") is in advanced talks for a concert in Israel. As first reported by Yedioth Ahronoth, Madonna and Lady Gaga will arrive in the Holy Land next summer as well. Advanced talks are also being held with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Let's start with Springsteen. Israeli producers have been trying for years to get him to perform in Israel, but have been unsuccessful. This time, the talks are said to be taking a positive direction. The American rock icon is expected to arrive in Israel for one concert in June 2012, most likely at the Ramat Gan Stadium. Madonna's arrival, as usual, will be the noisiest. The Queen of Pop last performed in Israel in September 2009, in front of 100,000 people. It was the highest grossing stop on the second leg of her "Sticky and Sweet" world tour. This time, Madonna is expected to launch her world tour in Israel in May 2012, either at the Ramat Gan Stadium or Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park. She is scheduled to spend three weeks in the Holy Land, working on her concert tour. Lady Gaga performed in Israel in August 2009, a moment before becoming one of the world's biggest pop stars. This time, she is expected to arrive in the Holy Land for the concerts in August 2012, at a new stadium being built in Petah Tikva. Red Hot Chili Peppers have yet to sign an agreement for a concert, but music industry officials believe that the American rock band will perform in Israel in late July, most likely at Yarkon Park. All four artists will likely be brought to Israel by producer Shuki Weiss, who has been working with the Live Nation international production company which represents the singers. Weiss' office said in response, "It's too early to rejoice. Once we have something to report, we'll do so."
Guest groovyguy
http://www.rollingstone.com/music/photos/tour-preview-why-2012-is-shaping-up-to-be-a-monster-year-20111123/madonna-0474524 Tour Preview: Why 2012 Is Shaping Up to Be a Monster Year Madonna Her new single recently leaked and she's rumored to be performing at halftime during this year's Super Bowl – so there's no doubt that the Madonna machine is gearing up for a big 2012. She stayed off the road for most of the 1990s, but in 2001 she came back strong with the Drowned World Tour. She followed it up with even bigger tours in 2004 and 2008/09. While it's impossible to say for sure, if she does perform at halftime, expect her to put the tour onsale the following morning. Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen saw big success with the same trick. Likelihood: 90 percent. In 2007, Live Nation made a $120 million deal with Madonna. They aren't paying for her to sit home and not tour, especially when supporting a new album. A fake itinerary hit the web a few weeks ago showing Madonna at stadiums in America, but expect to see her at arenas. Also, expect to pay a small fortune for tickets.
