Tatu Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 In August, Smirnoff released details on its website regarding an international dance contest indicating that successful finalists would be dancing with Madonna. Terms and conditions outlined that participants must have 12 month validity on their passport from March 2012 and make themselves available to travel all over the USA, South America, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. I'm kind of bummed about this, Anaheim but no Los Angeles? Ugh, the LA crowd is sooo much better!! And stadium, even worse! But better than nothing.

The only thing that would give some truth to this is that date. Summer of 2012 Madison Square Garden in New York City is slated for phase 2 of renovations so there would be no concerts or any events held there. They could do Yankee Stadium or Citi Field.

MSG reps have stated that the "upper Bowl" is to be completed in time for the 2012-2013 NBA and NHL season and the WNBA NY Liberty have to play their games at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Basically they close MSG after the last regular season NBA/ NHL game or final playoff games if the season goes on longer. The NBA Knicks were done early and within a week of the end of the regular season the started tearing out the lower bowl seats. I was hoping she would hit New York after October so she could perform at Madison Square Garden. I hope I'm wrong and the arena is open but they're talking about three summers until 100% complete. We spoke about Madonna coming to Israel next summer just a few days ago, and we're delighted to confirm - the rumors are true! Yes, yes, the production company behind the Madonna shows has let slip her tour schedule for next year, and on that mighty long list is a date with Tel Aviv. To be more precise, the date is 10th June and the gig is scheduled for the only place in Israel that can really accommodate her, HaYarkon Park. The rumors had suggested her tour would even start in Israel, but that honor apparently goes to New Zealand. And this tour there will be only the one show, in contrast to the two sellout gigs she performed back in 2009 (we were there, she was quite simply ENTERTAINMENT!). Nothing has been set in stone, and there are no details of tickets, but it does look like next summer is already set to be a cracker! We'll keep you updated with any news of tickets, because they'll sell out fast! Just to give you a little taste of what she did the last time she was in Tel Aviv...and of course, let's not forget, it was Madonna who said "Israel is the center of the world!"
