Madonna Injured After Paparazzi Instigated Horse-Riding Accident Filed under: Madonna Her Madgesty was taken to the hospital on Saturday after suffering a horse-riding accident in Long Island, NY. The Queen of Pop was only suffered "minor injuries and bruises" and was released from the hospital the same day. Madonna's publicist, Liz Rosenberg, says that she had been thrown off a horse that had been startled by paparazzi. "The accident occurred when the horse Madonna was riding was startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer who was visiting friends on Eastern Long Island over the weekend," a statement read. M's rep claims that photos jumped out of the bushes to snap Madonna, thus spooking the horsey. This is Madge's second horse-riding accident. In 2005, Madonna broke several bones while horse-riding – cracking three ribs and breaking her collarbone. Thankfully nothing more serious happened this time! And these people are getting more and more agressive, since the market for celebrity pictures is no longer as lucrative as it once was. Thanks to mobile phones with digital cameras everyone is a paparazzi. Exclusive pictures are rare. The Material Mom, who suffered broken bones in a similar accident three years ago, was leaping over hurdles on a brown steed on the East End spread when she bit the dust just before 4:30 p.m. In the wake of the titanic tumble, more than 10 people, including her Brazilian boy toy Jesus Luz, 22, rushed to her side. Rescue workers, who arrived minutes later, scooped up the "Like a Virgin" songstress and gingerly carried her on a backboard to a waiting ambulance, which raced to Southampton Hospital. Klein was by her side. She suffered only minor injuries and bruises but will undergo further tests and will remain under doctor's observations, her spokeswoman said. The kabbalah enthusiast walked out of the hospital on her own a few hours later, hopping into a black SUV, which raced away. Let us not forget Madonna before being a superstar is a mother of 3 children and this would've been a terrible tragedy for all of them. I truly do not see anything funny about this accident and the horse pic is just tacky and distasteful. I cant believe there are fans who think her horse accident back in 2005 was a lie. She got her cheeks done last year and was spotted with a bruise and didnt need an an excuse.
