Braby
And just think, with Leona's total sales of Spirit over 2.3 million (and counting), it means 1 in every 30 people in this country own this album in some format or another. Walk down a busy high road and SHIVER at that statistic every time you pass 30 people. Quite shocking really.

fak
I think the Killers will overtake HC this week. I wonder if Girls Aloud and Stereophonics will too? Album sales are quite bad in the UK this year. Duffy will prob sell 1.8mill overall - some more days of XMAS shopping to go yet and she will win big at this years Brits. Cold Play will sellmore over 2009 too. Nos 4,5,6,8, 14, 16, 24, 31 are all from 2007 or olde rin case of 6 and 14. A 16 year old album which has already sold so much has managed to outsell HC in 2008. franxisco66
^ True, We all know that Take That in the UK are untoachable, they may even be the best selling album at the end of the yera (I hope is Duffy though) Happy to see Krauss/Plant so high, it has probably sold 500 000 already, and it is the kind of album that will sell well as a catalog, as it is a masterpiece. Vow at GA too, this is going to be their biggest selling studio album for sure... The sencond single is great so it will stay in the charts for a while

jonski43
Don't mind Take That - they worked their way up and have come back with some great songs such as Patience and Rule the World that appeal to more than just hardcore fans. Leona Lewis is a backing singer who got lucky singing dreary songs to people who have no taste in music and just have it on in the background. She will be gone in a couple of years. There is absolutely nothing about the woman - a complete personality vacuum.
