HolidayGuy Posted July 4, 2007 Author Posted July 4, 2007 Furthermore, it's only July 4th! This past week's info wouldbe W/E 7/1.
thebigham Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 7/14 charts: Top Electronic Albums: COADF holds at #13 for the 3rd week, 86 weeks. Hot Single Sales: Jump re-enters at #38, 31 weeks. Hot Dance Single Sales: Jump is up one place to #7, 34 weeks.
notsomuch Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Does anyone have the sales for COADF year to date? Last I saw it was around 1,626,000 that was probably a month and a half ago.
thebigham Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 On the page before this one, the COADF total is there: Confessions on a Dance Floor: 1,102 (-2%)- 1,634,268 cume
doctorjosh Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 I just hope that her Live Earth performance and the release of a new album at the end of this year may be enough to push COADF to 1.7 million by early next year...
notsomuch Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 On the page before this one, the COADF total is there: Confessions on a Dance Floor: 1,102 (-2%)- 1,634,268 cume Thank you sir. I don't know if M's going to put 65,000 as a result of the live earth concert. maybe 2,000.
HolidayGuy Posted July 6, 2007 Author Posted July 6, 2007 Yah- any impact (limited it may be) likely would be limited to 1 week. (well, *maybe* 2, since it takes place on a Saturday).
Supernatural Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 the Confesstions Tour CDDVD is at #72 on Amazon this afternoon. Don't know what number it was at before Live Earth but this obviously got a boost.
thebigham Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 7/21 charts: Top Electronic Albums: COADF is up 1 to #12 with a bullet, 87 weeks. Hot Single Sales: Jump is down 11 spaces to #49, 32 weeks. Hot Dance Single Sales: Jump holds at #7, 35 weeks.
Guest courtney Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Anybody have last weeks sales and the total uptill then for Confessions On A Dnacefloor.
HolidayGuy Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 Nope, hopefully will get sales info this week.
thebigham Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 7/28 charts: Top Electronic Albums: COADF is down 1 to #13 with a bullet, 88 weeks. Hot Single Sales: Jump is up 7 places to #42, 33 weeks. Hot Dance Single Sales: Jump is up 1 to #6, 36 weeks.
HolidayGuy Posted July 19, 2007 Author Posted July 19, 2007 There are 4 debuts ahead of COADF on Electronic Albums, so probably a decent increase (as decent as an album scanning 1K per week can have).

Nightshade Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 I don't suppose at some point we could get the physical + digital tallies for each of the COADF singles?
Guest moboy Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 I love the fact that for the past 4 months COADF has been hovering near 1,100 per week. I think the lowest it's ever gone is 1,020.
HolidayGuy Posted July 21, 2007 Author Posted July 21, 2007 Nightshade, I posted to-date COADF singles' digital tallies in the digital thread. I think there was at least 1 week where COADF dropped below 1K.
Guest nothingfails0603 Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 you have to admit that COADF still selling over 1000 is impressive, even Emancipation Of Mimi is down to 800-something, and that was an album that was a much bigger seller in America and still gets more radio play. People can call COADF a flop all they want, but 1000 after 20 months is no mean feat
Guest Beautiful Stranger Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 you have to admit that COADF still selling over 1000 is impressive, even Emancipation Of Mimi is down to 800-something, and that was an album that was a much bigger seller in America and still gets more radio play. People can call COADF a flop all they want, but 1000 after 20 months is no mean feat I know! When will COADF catch up to TEOM? I'm guessing by 3126!!!!!! YAY!!!!!
HolidayGuy Posted July 21, 2007 Author Posted July 21, 2007 The Mimi album is down to just under 1,000; and the recurrent play is still pretty high for some of the singles. Anyone who would call COADF a flop isn't "all there" by any stretch of the ol' imagination.
Nightshade Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 Nightshade, I posted to-date COADF singles' digital tallies in the digital thread. I think there was at least 1 week where COADF dropped below 1K. Thanks man! You da bomb!
thebigham Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Virgin Megastore has TIC and COADF on sale for $10.
thebigham Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 8/4 charts: Top Electronic Albums: COADF holds #13, 89 weeks. Two albums debut above it. Hot Single Sales: Jump falls off after 33 weeks on. Hot Dance Single Sales: Jump is down 2 to #8, 37 weeks.
Guest Qbanito21 Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 i wonder how many albums have been shipped for COADF??? they certify shipment not actual sales...so if over 1,600,000 have been sold, how many are out there??? close to 2 million right?
HolidayGuy Posted July 27, 2007 Author Posted July 27, 2007 We don't know- could be 1.85m, 1.9m, there's no way of knowing until it's certifed again. The # of physical units scanned is around 1.53m or so.
mtzlplk Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 anyone who calls COADF is a flop, even in the US, is out of their minds... if sales are as robust as say 5-7 years ago, COADF could be nearing 3x by now... and COADF selling 1.6M nowadays with just one modest radio hit in it is quite successful...
