HolidayGuy
Hopefully there will be sales info for this week. I'd guess COADF is still above 1K (though it looked to have dropped in sales on last week's chart from the prior week).
Guest nothingfails0603
1000 a week is still pretty good considering how long the album has been "dead". Pipedream but it'd be cool if the album hits 1.7 by years end. If the new album is released this year, it could be a possibility
Guest moboy
Well, we know that COADF had an uptick in digital sales, being on "sale" for $7.99 it's been hanging around the #30's on the Pop Album Chart on Itunes.

HolidayGuy
A label can certify any album- thing is, whenever it feels like it. With more than 1.5m physical units scanned, COAF propably has shipped 1.85m+. Maybe when the new album is released, WB will ship more units out, and bring it closer to 2m. thebigham
The questions was "Can it already be certified multi-platinum?" I took it meaning right now. No, the album is nowhere 2xp today, this week, or this month, or probably the rest of the year. Yes, in the future (2008-2010), the album may be eligible for 2xp. HolidayGuy
Aware of that- but, unless you have gone to every outlet in the USA and counted every unit in stores, and got a report from BMG on how many units it has in stock, we really don't know how many units have been shipped, do we? So, anything we say is only speculation, anyhow. The only way we could say it could be, definitively, is if it's total was higher- like 1.85m-1.9m. And we could say, "probably not" at this point. I think posters instead should be pondering ponder whether TCT can be certified platinum as a video title!
Guest nothingfails0603
how are club sales these days? I notice that COADF is now available through those outlets, surely those sales could add up and get the album to double platinum
HolidayGuy
It's available as a free selection/discounted title now, right? It took a while, as it was only available for like $13.99 or so. Nonetheless, probably not enough to be *this* close to 2m, but every little bit helps.

Guest Eternal Flame
I wonder if WBR will certify COADF for 2xP when her new album gets it's first certification... Or when the new album is released. Remember both Music and Bedtime Stories were certified 3x platinum when COADF was released.
thebigham
I wonder if WBR will certify COADF for 2xP when her new album gets it's first certification... How can it be 2xp when it has only sold 1.5 million physical cds? COADF has 100k in digital sales which are not counted by the RIAA.
