Genevieve Vavance Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 my god that voice sorry, I'm in the mood for some Evita
Genevieve Vavance Posted December 23, 2015 Author Posted December 23, 2015 how she reaches those high notes and and then her deep register amazing
Andra Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 My fav song from Evita as well, I actually listen to this song every other day. her voice is too much!
nick00 Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 The scene from the film with this song is very well done. Definitely a highlight from soundtrack!
velvet Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Love love this song, second favorite after YMLM
XXL Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Wonderful But then the whole soundtrack is wonderful. And of course, speaking of the film, Madonna was robbed of at least an Oscar nom for her potrayal. There is nobody in music, male or female, who has worked as much and with such versatility as Madonna has. The Evita soundtrack and I'm Breathless are in my Top 10 of best Madonna music moments
Jazzy Jan Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 my god that voice sorry, I'm in the mood for some Evita Her voice is perfect on this song. One of the best scenes in Evita as well. Her performance in Evita both as a singer and actress is very under-rated. Anne Hathaway got an Oscar for doing far less in a musical and Madonna did not even get nominated even though she carried the entire film.
kingvirtue Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Why, oh WHY wasn't this released as a single (with solo vocals)? It's amazing!
kingvirtue Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 A remix similiar to this would've been even better! OMG
jonski43 Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Why, oh WHY wasn't this released as a single (with solo vocals)? It's amazing! I agree. I love this song and prefer it to Another Suitcase In Another Hall and You Must Love Me!
Nightshade Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Maybe it's because this film came out during the holidays in 1996, but I always associate this soundtrack with Christmas and I love listening to it this time of year.
imgonnacarryon Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 It should've been a single instead of Another suitcase in another flop. This song and the marvellous "Rainbow High"
Guest Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 I'm always in the mood for Evita. ASIAH is my favorite.

Guest Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Such a wonderful song.... It seems crazy but you must believe There's nothing calculated, nothing planned Please forgive me if I seem naive I would never want to force your hand But please understand, I'd be good for you I don't always rush in like this Twenty seconds after saying hello Telling strangers I'm too good to miss If I'm wrong I hope you'll tell me so But you really should know, I'd be good for you I'd be surprisingly good for you I won't go on if I'm boring you But do you understand my point of view? Do you like what you hear, what you see And would you be, good for me too? I'm not talking of a hurried night A frantic tumble then a shy goodbye Creeping home before it gets too light That's not the reason that I caught your eye Which has to imply, I'd be good for you I'd be surprisingly good for you
whyme? Ghost Town Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 Maybe it's because this film came out during the holidays in 1996, but I always associate this soundtrack with Christmas and I love listening to it this time of year. THIS Time to give it a spin
nick00 Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 This too. Needed a good cry. This is an extremely depressing scene, but still makes me want to purchase blue-ray. I'm just imagining how great the entire film must look!!
