Kurt420 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 its been on my playlist alot lately. Great driving song. Its so Madonna. I agree! Don't understand the strong hate this song gets. Just a feel good track!!
5iVe Elements Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Love it!!! Never understand the hate. so underrated
madgefan Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 I always thought this was one of the strongest tracks on MDNA
Flip The Switch Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 I always thought this was one of the strongest tracks on MDNA Of course.
Jazzy Jan Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Love it as well. One of the most debated Madonna songs by fans. People either love it or hate it. I love the carefree happy feel of it and the message of letting music take you to another place.
david86 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 before the album came out there were snippets of the TUTR demo online. I thought it was gonna be a massive hit. A -Call on me- kind of track..
runa Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Love this track! But I dislike the live performance... Too static for my taste.
luluthecat Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 There's a massive song in there somewhere. For me its just lame lyrics that make me cringe "a person just like you", "buzzing around like a moth to a flame" etc. Also her I non enthused delivery of the lines. The instrumental version is awesome!
Guest pieciolot Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Don't understand all the hate either. Its a perfect pop song. It would've been a big hit had it been released 20 years ago.
boy skeffington Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Turn Up the Radio Superstar GMAYL Three MartinS tracks that many ROLers hate but I actually love all three. Classic Madonna. His tracks on MDNA are my favorite! I Fucked Up and Beautiful Killer are perfect pop songs to me.

luluthecat Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Superstar wasn't produced Martin Solveig, it's was that random DJ friend of her old dancer boyfriend.
boy skeffington Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Superstar wasn't produced Martin Solveig, it's was that random DJ friend of her old dancer boyfriend. I stand corrected. And I still love it! And I still love the MartinS songs.

MCHL Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 I actually think this would have done better as the lead single with the Super Bowl tie-in
Guest Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 I've always loved this song. I don't think people give it enough credit. The lyrics are actually very poetic between the chorus. It was time that I opened my eyes I'm leaving the past behind... Upon first listen I couldn't help but think she was paying homage to The Buggles, Video Killed the Radio Star. Especially @ 3:21. Did anyone else notice this?

tuckeye Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 i always thought she should've released this once the first single was leaked. and first, i love the song. i thought it was too overly produced, esp. from the demo, too pop. but its perfect pop now.
dollhouse Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Don't understand all the hate either. Its a perfect pop song. It would've been a big hit had it been released 20 years ago. maybe that was the problem?

Guest animalinstinct Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Sorry, but no. TUTR is a reminder of how Rebel Heart is so much better than MDNA.
Carta Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Martin said that he was impressed by the way Madonna took the demo he presented to her and "turned it into a Madonna song". It's great! Warner Brothers would have turned this into a hit. Live Nation didn't know how to....
VogueMusic Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 It was ALWAYS the perfect pop song. From the first listen. Expected it to be a single much sooner, if not a lead...and certainly deserved major success. If any of those other pop bitches had released this, it probably would have garnered something... Such a thumping, feel-good classic Madonna number. As said above, along with quite a few of the other Martin S. songs, they are very classic care-free Madonna. LOVE IT.
