Shane Posted December 9, 2015 Author Posted December 9, 2015 You don't need to care, but it's pretty customary that we report the year end acclaim Madonna gets.
Shane Posted December 9, 2015 Author Posted December 9, 2015 All three RH singles have been recognized at this point
Guest gang bang Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Im still pissed I was pissed not only because Madonna was ignored , Alejandra was too , her album is greatttttt .. but really Alejandro sanz again ..so he fucks the entire academy .I expect something for Alejandra on Latin Grammys next year , if not , i won t believe in humanity anymore lol but calm down baby , is not the end of the world
tuckeye Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Lol another negative Nancy from this guy....oh I'm happy for anything Madonna gets recognition for these days.
Guest gang bang Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 well Madonna will be a 1.4 billion touring artist soon i can forget everything ..hahha
Brasileiro Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 As of late, I'm working out the most to LFL... Too bad the world didn't catch up. Presented properly it would have had more commercial success.
Phineaspoe Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 That's great, thank you for sharing! I found the write-up to be spot on and coming from someone who bothered to listen to the demos as well. I agree that the final version is glorious but unnecessarily overthought. Then again, howI yearn to hear the proper album/demo versions live someday...
nick00 Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Awesome to see it make some of type of list! Agree too that LFL is an extremely catchy single, but something about the production and final version could have been better for sure.
Icykiller Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Living for love is a masterpiece. End of.
Rebel Heartbreaker Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Even with the Crowdonna chorus, a kickass single!
tasteinmen Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Watching Viva at the moment and Madonna is number 2 on their '2015 20 biggest OMG moments', they are playing the LFL video with pop up text about the fall and the snog. Never thought I'd see this video on a pop music channel again!
madgefan Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Wish she was still playing the album version with those sounds effects from the Grammys and the Brits on tour!!
Arnian Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 One of the best aspects of the final album version for me is Alicia's piano notes, just having that organic sounds make the song such a jam. Would have enjoyed more of that kind of direction with the song and maybe have it be a little longer. Other than that it's perfect and I actually listen to it pretty much every day. The most embarrassing thing is how much I sing it while doing the elliptical at the gym. People some times stare but I can't help it. lol

Though one of the demos has that heavenly outro!
tycole6 Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 I knew from the first moment that Living For Love was a classic Madonna single and one that should be cherished for years and years to come just as Hung Up and Music are now. Easily her best single of the 2000s. I'm glad the critics are giving her the recognition she deserves. It also says something different songs are making different lists and they can't agree which song is actually the best. That's the work of an artist.
Rebel Heartbreaker Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Tycole6, I agree. At least the album isn't being totally ignored!

Flip The Switch Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Great to see LFL having some recognition! Best song off RH.
Guest Medoner Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Awesome song. The releasing plan fucking sucked tho
M.Dolla Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Awesome song. The releasing plan fucking sucked tho It truly did. I think about how the song could've been released at least once a day 😩
karbatal Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Love this song so much. Oh I got tears during the concert.
Music Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Love this song so much. Oh I got tears during the concert. Think about the tears you would have got if it had been the actual Brit version, so much powerful...
Glindathegood Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Nice, but I guess they forgot it was actually released in 2014! In the New York Times today, Bitch, I'm Madonna is cited as one of the best singles of the year!
