Phineaspoe Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 So is Autotune Baby the new Superstar/Jimmy Jimmy? It gets no love. I despise those two songs, but Autotune Baby is phenomenal. To begin with, it's original. She sounds great in it. And it doesn't drag.
Icykiller Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 So is Autotune Baby the new Superstar/Jimmy Jimmy? It gets no love. I guess so. It's the baby crying at the beginning and that rattle sound which puts me off. I´ve tried to listen to the song completely but after 30 seconds I just can´t, I have to skip it.

Mensch Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I guess so. It's the baby crying at the beginning and that rattle sound hich puts me off. I´ve tried to listen to the song completely but after 30 seconds I just can´t, I have to skip it. That's a shame. It's a great song. I love the baby crying! So cute!
humanracin Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Jimmy Jimmy >>>>>> Autotune Baby > Superstar I love Jimmy Jimmy its fits perfectly with all the True Blue 1950s vibe
Platinum Gold Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Autotune Baby is so good I love it. The way the baby cry goes with the drum beat on some parts is genius imo. Also I love her voice at the end "You and me sitting on a tree, you'll be the daddy I'll be the baby"

madmex Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 i grew to love love love love "Beautiful scars" (i did not like it at first, i felt it was disjointed because i was so used to the demo). I even envisonned a video for it. The same with me! I hated the album version but now I love it. And the same with Rebel Heart, now I think the album version is better.
Nightshade Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Every day I fall in love with a new track. Today it's Wash All Over Me so lush. perfection. The final version is majestic. I don't like those bubbly sounds but when that electric guitar comes in and it builds up, it's just so sad and fucking gorgeous.
elijah Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 As I said in my view QUEEN is a metaphor for the shrinking of the old world and government and people being uneasy and fearful because of that. It also has this pre-apocalyptic feel to it, this urgency that something big is about to happen. Its like we live in the latter days. That's why I feel its very 2015 with whats going on in the world: ISIS, Paris, Greece etc. There are digs at the little monstrosities too (the new generation). I don't see it as a song being about her.
Mattress Posted February 7, 2015 Author Posted February 7, 2015 I am completely obsessed with "Veni Vidi Vici"... verse two is orgasmic leaving me no choice but to repost this: I expressed myself came like a virgin down the aisle Exposed my naked ass and I did it with a smile And when it came to sex I know I walked the borderline And when I struck a pose all the gay boys lost their minds
Mattress Posted February 7, 2015 Author Posted February 7, 2015 I justified my love I made you say a little prayer They had me crucified you know I had to take it there I opened up my heart I learned the power of good-bye I saw a ray of light music saved my life I came, I saw, I conquered. -Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone
Wunderkind Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I am completely obsessed with "Veni Vidi Vici"... verse two is orgasmic leaving me no choice but to repost this: I expressed myself came like a virgin down the aisle Exposed my naked ass and I did it with a smile And when it came to sex I know I walked the borderline And when I struck a pose all the gay boys lost their minds Soooooo good! It's turning into one of my favourite songs.
karbatal Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 i love each and everyone, only Autotune is not having my love, but that's because i'm so eager to listen to the next song that i'm not having patience for crying babies. The only thing is that my smartphone created a weird order by itself so i'm buring a CD right now so i can listen to the album for the first time in the right sequence!!!! I agree with Elijah about the meaning of Queen, it's perfectly paired with Ghosttown. Pre Apocalyptic and Post Apocalyptic. Devil Prays goes in the middle. Things are to fall apart, we try to avoid the mess by living in a lliquid reality of drugs, social nets and all that, but in the end only if we are united we will survive that Ghosttown. That's what Rebel Heart is about in the end, isn't it??? Things are a mess, instead of drifting apart, let's unite each other and rebel. Rebelling and Loving is the antidote for the big mess we are living and about to live.
Michael. Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Best Night is my JAM!! Fuck yes. She sounds so hot in this song. When I listen to the song I picture her straddling me in a chair and whispering the lyrics in my ear. I'm loving the background vocal when she sings "I'll make this the best night of your life" during the bridge.
ruey Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 So is Autotune Baby the new Superstar/Jimmy Jimmy? It gets no love. It's the one I'm listening to the most right now, along with Addicted. "I'm addicted, I'm I'm addicted"
DanM Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Autotune Baby is great! Actually I like it better than some of the songs on the normal album.
dollhouse Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I like listening to Queen BECAUSE of the dramatic vibe. I imagine Madonna saying good bye to the world, people realizing they've lost the Queen, etc. But it's fiction. Obviously it's not coming anytime soon. I think it's sort of a prophetic kind of song. She knows she wont live forever. but she will. if someones gonna live forever, its Madonna. shes a legend, one of the biggest!

I´ve tried to listen to the song completely but after 30 seconds I just can´t, I have to skip it. Then you have to give it a full listen. you're missing the best parts.
