And how do these publications get simple facts wrong like Emmylou's name....geesh, the woman has been in the business since 1975.

vocalism
I would have killed for an entire album a la "Guilty by Association" back in the '90s. Don't think it would work now though. I do hope there's a song written by him on the new album.

I do hope there's a song written by him on the new album. Based off of her recent albums, it's very likely he will be on the next album. He's written a song on every album since Music except for AL. I do hope there's a song written by him on the new album. Interesting, I feel like a full album could still work! Falling Free is absolutely beautiful and is as good as any of their previous collabs. Idk why, but there is something Patrick Leonard-esque about the songs she's done with him.
Nikki
I fully agree. I hear the patrick leonard "sound" or rather "feel" to the music they made together as well. I really hope she'll work with him on a full album.. maybe when her LN contract is over.
5iVe Elements
Signed. I want an album of M and Joe Henry. That's very unmainstream and I wish she'd pursue that

peter
I echo all the Joe Henry-Madonna collab love. We've discussed this before in some thread -- I don't know where right now -- but there was an interview with Joe Henry where he indicated that he's ready to make an album with Madonna, but SHE has to be ready to make that transition. I guess the insinuation would be that his sound isn't quite the mainstream radio sound -- and if she ever decides to depart from that, he's all about working with her on that. I'm paraphrasing, but that was the basic idea.
