So no filming then?

Looking at those pics I'm kind of glad. The seated crowd just isn't the same, it'll look so much more grand in Brazil.

Absolutely breathtaking gay coma-inducing show!

The atmosphere in there was tremendously exciting. Of all the times I've seen her live over the years, this definitely ranks very highly among the creme de la creme! Something I really noticed is that the although the show was 2 hours long,it felt like it went by so fast! I didn't want it to end. The acoustics in the stadium were fantastic and clear. The sky was completely clear above me with some stars twinkling. Looking up at that and the massive crowd surrounding me 4 times bigger than I'm used to at MSG shows was surreal.

The opening was so explosive and electrifying you could feel the place rumbling a bit. I've seen her so many times I was staring in disbelief at the scene before my eyes. She moves and dances hard and skillfully so effortlessly and barely sweating! Gang Bang was stunning, especially the last minute. I cried during Masterpiece, Vogue, and Like A Prayer. Vogue gave me life! I felt like I saw my entire gayhood as a young boy through adulthood flash before my eyes and come full circle! I got so emotional! And it was another magnificent fresh performance of Vogue. Her voguing was so fierce and I kept screaming "Werq it you fucking bitch!" The queens around me were so amused! Open Your Heart was sung beautifully and I thought Hung Up was cool. That was precious when she was with Rocco during Open Your Heart. :inlove: When she sang Masterpiece I was overcome with emotion thinking about some frustrating, impossible relationships and unrequited love I had last year. She sounded so strong, emotive, confident. Candy Shop/Erotica was extremely sexy and classy. Human Nature, I was staring at her back for 30 seconds trying to figure out what it said cuz it obviously wasn't No Fear. Like A Virgin was so sultry and aching. It was so cute hearing the fans around me realizing they had to slow down their singing to sing along with her. The crowd roared when she made her comments about QOL Michelle and her good-looking hubby. This is minor but I nearly lost it during I'm Addicted when she sings "Something happens to me when I hear your voice, Something happens to me and I have no choice, I need to hear your name, Everything feels so strange, I'm ready to take this chance..." she performed it exactly like how I always envisioned it ever since the album came out. Basically her doing some kind of motion going up and looking down from the stage to the crowd like a goddess. She was climbing the steps from the catwalk to the main stage singing that and her star-power overtook me and I loudly screamed "I NEED TO DANCE!!!" before she did! Watching the sea of arms allover the stadium jumping and waving their arms during Like A Prayer and Madonna wildly freeing her soul and throwing herself around the stage was truly a religious experience! :dramatic: Rocco dancing for his mama DJ was the cutest thing ever. She looked so sexy during Celebration. My thoughts are such a mess and many other things happened. I'll let the pics I took and upload later on tell the rest of my night.

Yes, Harriet The Spy and Buffy's little sister QOL Michelle Tracthenberg was right in front of me throughout the show. My buddy pointed her out to me and I didn't believe it was her at first, but when I looked straight into those beautiful big INTELLIGENT eyes I knew it was her. :inlove: I kept thinking of CUBB while I looked at her. :chuckle:

I didn't get a chance to meet Miguel before the show, but I bumped into him during my McFlurry run at McDonald's after the show. :wow: We will be hanging out and will be in the triangle together Saturday night. Get there early boy! Last time I've seen him was on the Confessions Tour my baby boy is such a man now! :dramatic:

I took a gazillion pictures! You'll see them here eventually!

There were so many hot guys there. :dramatic: I "accidentally" rubbed up against their beefy butts while shifting around in that crowd.

The golden triangle was fucking amazing! And don't worry from where you see it inside there and missing stuff. It's roomy in there and you can easily shift from one part of the triangle to the other. LOL it looked funny how the whole crowd in there shifted from one end to the other following her around like puppies. Unless you want be very front in there you don't need to get in there early. I was in 5th row in that crowd and shifted around back and forth to the sides and to the very back easily.

I originally had 2 floor section B tickets to this show. I decided against reselling them and just randomly gave them away to a hetero Puerto Rican couple just chillin on a bench outside the stadium. They told me they had no plans that night. They couldn't believe their luck and were so incredibly happy. :inlove:

I was in awe and nearly delirious after the show and babbling like a tweaking twinky meth queen! :o:lmao: The best high are natural highs, thank you MDNA! :horn: She has so much fire on stage, I can't imagine her retiring for a long time. I feel so honored to be a fan of this legend and witness her magnificent art, control, beauty inside and out, and power!

Madonna's 'MDMA' tour gains extra oomph with blown-up version at Yankee Stadium

The sheer scale of the production intensified 'MDMA''s defining tone: dark. Here, parts took on a grim grandeur.

NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

Friday, September 7, 2012, 1:53 AM

Nobody knows better than Madonna that size matters. So it’s no surprise that her new “MDMA” tour gained some extra oomph from Thursday’s blown-up stadium version at Yankee Stadium.

Last week, I reviewed the show’s trimmer, arena take from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia and found it to be a mix of the ambitious and the ponderous. It’s a dense, heavy, show that could use more fun, and hits, to lift it.

At Yankee Stadium, the sheer scale of the production intensified “MDMA”’s defining tone: dark. Here, parts took on a grim grandeur.

As always, the night started with its heaviest section: Madge wielding fire arms, which, at several moments she pointed directly at the audience. This, we call a sign.

While the star may start out singing (or, at least lipsynching) the zippy song “Girl Gone Wild,” the staging soon enough presents a girl gone bloodthirsty. During the next half hour, bullets rained down a video screen, gallons of gore splashed around and many an evil intruder had to be mowed down as sirens wailed and flames rose.

Even the one time Madonna spoke to the audience at length she had a sober “message.” She spoke of touring the world and “seeing people being locked up and put in jail for speaking their minds, for being gay, for not practicing the right religion.”

It inspired in her a renewed patriotism. She said she “realized how lucky I am to be living in America. We’re free.”

Later, she put in a political plug, showing off a mock tattoo on her lower back that read “Obama.”

Of course, the whole show was hardly a singing-dancing representation of Madonna’s angst, philosophy, and leftover anger at ex-husband Guy Ritchie. With pluck, she dolled herself up as the world’s oldest drum majorette in “Express Yourself.”

Here, Madonna took a deserved jab at Lady Gaga by blending her ’90s hit with one by the younger star that rips it off, “Born This Way.”

There was also fun to be had in “Vogue,” which luxuriates in cool poses, and features an updated version of her old conical bra. A display of acrobatic slackline dancing in “Hung Up” gave the show some needed bounce.

Sections of the night still puzzle. Why did she turn a song called “I'm A Sinner” into a hippiesque trip through modern India? And while it was interesting to invert “I’m a Virgin” into a sex-weary dirge, what exactly was Madonna trying to say with this?

Then again, at least she’s trying to say something. If, in the process, this often serious-minded show moves Madonna a step too far from the danceable joy of her most recent CDs, at least it has daring on its side. At Yankee Stadium, it got a double dose.

I'm so exited at all the American love for her right now.. Even tho I don't care about the haters and don't read the stupid articles it would be nice for her to get the props she deserves. From what you guys wrote it seems like people were in great spirits after the show, even the casual fans. I'm do happy!

Does anyone subscribe to Glenn Close's newsletter? She has just posted this morning "Had the most amazing time seeing the true Queen of pop...back tomorrow and then the Garden in November...yes I am a madonna fan and I'm not ashamed to admit it!" GC xx
