Nightshade
Russian site 2M says Hard Candy has sold 3.5 million copies worldwide since its release. I'm not sure how official that number is, or who their source is either, but there you have it. The album is re-charting this week in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Estonia. Nightshade
On South Korea's HANTEO pop album chart, it shows that Hard Candy has moved over 6,000 copies since its release last year (certification for GOLD is 8,000 for international acts - not sure if HC is certified though). Nightshade
so when did they say that 3.3 millions sold number? i mean, without a new single she has sold 400-500.000 copies? I think the 3.3 million came from The Houston Chronicle (which I am assuming got it from Warner's press department) in mid-November 2008. Since then it has passed through the holiday season (although it wasn't very high on many charts) and the tour extension has been announced. I am not sure if those two events would warrant 400,000 in worldwide shipments. I guess we will see if there is some other announcement when the tour kicks off - or maybe when the GH comes out. Cherish
For a supposed flop album, sales of over 3 million aren't to be sneezed at! She's still outsold Mariah's last effort, I recall how all the media were predicting that E = MC2 would be another "smash" for Mimi.

Gambler
http://worldwidealbums.blogspot.com/ It's so funny to see the ''old'' Madonna selling as much as the young Beyonce, Pink and Britney. Why the americans still call her an has been, really? I cannot wait to see what these young ladies would do at 50!!! Hard Candy has been number 1 in 37 countries! Funhouse, I am... Sash Fierce and Circus are all around 10 I think!
