kokot
The only only only only possible Grammy nomination I can see is for Best Dance Recording for "Bitch I'm Madonna" because that was the only thing that even resembled a hit from the RH project in the USA. #truthhurts This!! Guest gang bang
so no Ghosttown video lol so really Madonna won t get any nomination it will be a miracle if Rebel heart gets a nomination for Pop álbum
graffitiheart
she won't get any nom for sure, but at least they tried and submitted in the right categories...Ghosttown was never going to be nominated for best video, their only shot was BIM
Kurt420
There is no chance she could even attend the Grammys as she will be in Japan or Hong Kong on the date of the ceremony. The fact that she wouldn't be able to attend probably diminishes the already slim chances of her being nominated. Imagine if RH won album of the year though!! RH would have a whole second chart life for a couple of months.....nearly a year after its original release.
Shane
I think she has a shot at some nominations. I sure hope so! But then again, the nominations usually ARE 95 percent crap.
graffitiheart
Noms are based on commercial success now, funny how when. Madonna had the commercial success in the 80s Grammys ignored her. It bugs my mind how people like Kanye and Beyoncé have dozens of Grammys while legends like Queen and Led Zeppelin won zero
Jumpb4uthink
Rebel Heart has been in the headlines for a long time because of the leaks and it did receive some good reviews. Also her tour is a critical success. This may have a possitive effect on the academy nominating RH in a few categories. I think Ghosttown should have been a submission for best video. I hope BIM is nominated for best pop duo. 4 minutes was. Lol

SkyHigh76
I have a feeling that she may get a nomination for "Ghosttown".That's the type of big, power ballad that Grammy voters love.

lasky
People like bob Dylan can win grammy for album of the year... back in 1997... radio wasn't playing his record too and yet he won... will it happen to m?

Iconic Fetus
Maybe, RH has a shot for pop album because no one released a pop album, Taylor will win that, 1989 is huge. She has a shot for BIM but I guess that Uptown Funk will win or Bad Blood. Ghosttown may get pop solo. I'll be fine if they only nominate her. Yeah but his album sold loads and was a commercial success. Sorry but Rebel Heart was not a hit album. Let's not delude ourselves here. I'm surprised they haven't submitted anything for the Dance categories as she'd have a far stronger chance there than Pop and Record. Shows how delusional her team is. Shows how delusional her team is. I could be wrong about this but I thought I read that they somehow changed the rules for the dance category so that pop stars can't qualify only club djs/EDM producers. So she may not qualify for that. Does anyone else remember hearing that?
Jumpb4uthink
Yes and they also changed the rules from best female pop song and best male pop song into one category with both. That sure makes it more difficult for s nom but who knows. Ghosttown is her best chance with this academy. Also remember this thread is about predictions for nominations for RH and not predictions if she wins or not. I woul be completely satisfied if the album got exposure with some nominations alone. Arnian
Still a shame that the best album ever by a Female Pop Musician didn't win Album of the year. But Fearless by Swift sure did and Falling Into You by Celine Like seriously how the fuck do those records win Album of the Year and Ray of Light got none of the top tier awards it was nominated for? RH would have a whole second chart life for a couple of months.....nearly a year after its original release. Madonna won Best Dance/Electronica Album for Confessions and she didn't attend the ceremony so you never know. But yes, generally less prestigious award shows don't give out awards unless you attend the ceremony. I think the categories submitted were spot on. As I said earlier, I don't think she'll be nominated for anything cause she's never been a Grammy darling. I think Ghosttown could have been nominated if it was a hit. Her chances of being nominated/winning a Dance Grammy are over because if you look at the recent nominees, only DJs or 'less' mainstream artists get nominated for those categories. Rihanna was the last mainstream artist to get nominated (for Only Girl) and that was in 2011.
