Mozo1 Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Ugh, I can't say I had my hopes up, but was holding out in vain for a surprise the grammy committee holds for only white males of M.'s age or older, it seems.
imgonnacarryon Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 I'm pretty sure they will take advantage of her when she's dead
graffitiheart Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 It's absolutely expected, nothing to be surprised, I'm guessing she will only get recognition once she's dead
zephyralexxx Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 so expected by everyone. And we already know the nominations and winnings for 2017: Adele all over.
rocknrolla Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Did MDNA or Hard Candy receive any nominations?

Amzer801 Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 "Give It 2 Me" received a Best Dance Recording nomination and "4 Minutes" for Best Collaboration.
imgonnacarryon Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 "Give It 2 Me" received a Best Dance Recording nomination and "4 Minutes" for Best Collaboration. And 4 Minutes was also nominated for best remix... sigh
Phineaspoe Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 She made the effort to perform at their low-class affair two years in a row, and she doesn't even get a courtesy nomination. Get outta here! I agree with whoever said that they shouldn't submit songs for nominations anymore. Neither should she perform at the event.
graffitiheart Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Well honestly she should have started the boycott decades ago...it's not like it's the first time she gets snubbed, at this point it's more a surprise when gets a nom
Guest Rachelle of London Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 She ain't even gonna be there anyway! Meh
Mmmmm Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Meghan fucking Trainor even gets a nom!! FUCK YOU!!!! Anyways Madonna doesn't care so we shouldn't. A lot of greats have never gotten a Grammy so fuck them!!
Mmmmm Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 She ain't even gonna be there anyway! Meh Exactly!! We will be periscoping Asia shows! Woo hoo!
dollhouse Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Meghan Trainor made such better music than Rebel Heart? PLEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEE..
elijah Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 That's fucking depressing. She releases her best album in 10 years that sold pretty well compared to the other nominated and again nothing. They are not fair when it comes to her.
Plaything Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 I'm not surprised. Honestly, the Grammys are fucking shit and I wish Madonna would boycott them for the rest of her career.
Arnian Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 The thing that annoys me the most honeslty is the fact that almost every album Taylor Swift has released has been nominated for Album of the Year. Madonna has received one Album of the Year nomiantion and that's it for Ray Of Light. What kind of bullshit is that? How did True Blue, LAP, Confessions, Music not get album of the year noms if fucking Red and Fearless did (which won)? Not to mention Flopga's first 3 records all getting one
Arnian Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 USA Today listed Madonna and Prince as being the biggest snubs: 1: SNUB: Madonna, Prince are no-shows Both '80s icons returned in huge ways this year with new albums: Madonna, touting her dance-heavy 13th effort Rebel Heart; and Prince, with Tidal exclusive HITNRUN Phase One. But lo and behold, neither could muster any love from the academy (save for Madge collaborator Diplo, whose work on Heart helped nab him recognition for producer of the year). http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/music/2015/12/07/snubs-surprises-grammy-nominations-2016/76908840/

Featuring some of her strongest tracks in 15 years, Madonna's "Rebel Heart" enlisted an A-list roster of producers and special guests, including the Grammy-nominated Diplo, West and Nicki Minaj. Despite featuring a familiar sort of bravado in singles such as "Bitch I'm Madonna," she was shut out for this year's Grammy nominations. But don't shed too many tears for an artist in Madonna's class — as she wrote in her liner notes while quoting Michael Moore, "You can't stick your chin out and not expect to get punched."

Starman Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 What liner notes is this from? Isnt it from the secret project interview?
Iconic Fetus Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Ugh I can't stand them tbh. Ghosttown or even the album should have been nominated.
lasky Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Yeah... cannot understand the logic here... based on merit... my ass!
Guest animalinstinct Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Fuck the Grammy's. It's still my album of the year.

imgonnacarryon Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 They praised Cyndi Lauper in the 80s. Whoriah in The nineties and today they reward Flopga for every shit she releases. They are shady as fuck!!
