Wow- a nice jump to No. 17 in airplay- at least UK radio isn't ageist like some countries. Also, not bad considering there's no video and all. Speaking of video: do UK music channels play videos more than their USA counterparts? For instance, has MTV UK become as reality-show-focused as USA MTV? Same for VH-1.

MTV has more than 5 channels in the UK, the most famous - MTV 1 (crap, just reality shows although it has a music lineup late at night), MTV 2 (Indie, quite good), MTV Hits (so so), MTV R&B and MTV Dance (decent). But on top of that, there are at least other 8 all-video 24-hour channels: The Box, Bubble Hits, 4Music, Kiss TV, Smash Hits, Q TV, Kerrang, Scuzz, Bliss, Flaunt, among others. So yeah, videos are extensively played in the UK.
