Those sales are ABYSMAL - for the first time since the beginning of her career Madonna is looking like a singles act. Warners not running any ads for the album ain't helping either. Guest Hafo Posted May 9, 2008 Share Posted May 9, 2008 QB might have a slight point (not about the quality of the song, mind you) ... looks like European people have not been exposed yet to what Madonna herself is offering as a solo in Hard Candy. 4 Minutes at the end of the day is a collaboration effort, first time her lead single has this format, and that may explain its success a bit - it's Madonna PLUS Justin PLUS Wiki Wiki. But as an introduction to the album, it ain't immediate. So the average Brit or French or Dutch still won't have a clue of the rest of Hard Candy until "Give It 2 Me" is promoted.
