The main cover page story on Yahoo.com tonight was the "4 Minutes" video and it had a link to stream it. As much as I wanted a #1 on the Hot 100 this week, I knew it was only an outside chance. I think this song will still hit that position as there is much room left for growth. It's getting the highest call-out scores right now, and that will bode well for airplay. The iTunes sales may dip, but the video just came out and will also continue to rack up impressive viewing numbers. You really have a since of entitlement. We have not heard any confirmed dates about anything other than the album release so don't talk out your ass. We don't know when the promo shows are, or for that matter we only know about NYC and Paris as cities that have been mentioned in the press. I'm sure madonna will do just fine launching this album, as I said before she has made it this far without your assistance. Dumb and stupid... sounds like you're projecting and have some issues. I fear the song may have exploded too rapidly, too soon before the release of the album, and I'm fearing that by the time HC is released, 4M may have lost too much steam to benefit from it. I hope Warner isn't thick enough to give up because of this chart stall, and concede to this number three showing. Madonna needs to start whoring herself and this song in the media now, before 4M loses its bullet. Silly as it may sound, I'd be in favor of them releasing a standard 2-track CD single Stateside. I guess it's starting to peak, is that 40M peak usual for Justin songs? The song has had steady non stop growth since it was released. Its not going to peak yet. So, I think Madonna still has room to grow. But, I agree with a previous post, I'm afraid that it blew up too fast, on iTunes at least.... cause we can't have sales dropping just as radio picks it up. That will just act as a trade off, and wont really boost her single. I'm doing my part. Streaming the video at AOL! And voting on TRL, and requesting the song at local mainstreem radio! According to world succes, Hung Up is considered the most successful single in 'modern' music history. Number 1 in a record-breaking 45+ countries. It's still growing at a very good pace. Wouldn't be surprised at this rate if it hit DAD-like numbers (around 60M) eventually. i think the release of the remixes will push it to number 1! 4 MINUTES was number one on the Top 9 at 9 countdown on KIIS FM in Los Angeles tonight.
