surannée Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 X barely made the Top 20. With only one day of sales.
karbatal Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 With only one day of sales. How is that? It was release on the same day as the rest of the countries!
promise to try Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 With only one day of sales. really???? how come??
Guest Eternal Flame Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 Hopefully X will go up on the United World Chart. I usually follow the world charts as they seem the most meaningful. Ultimate Kylie went up on the United World Chart after it debuted. Since there has not been any really big releases in the past week and X seems to be holding up decently it may rise on the chart. But it's still a disappointment. Does anyone know how many copies Body Language sold in its first week worldwide?
Guest northernlad Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 how is she doing in France? I ask this because I only remember her promoting the album in the UK, Australia and france (but I´m sure I´m not right...am I?) Yeah, she performed on Star Academy, though god knows why - she has no market in France. or Holland.. Belgium.. Italy.. Denmark..
promise to try Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 Yeah, she performed on Star Academy, though god knows why - she has no market in France. or Holland.. Belgium.. Italy.. Denmark.. but she didn´t go to Italy,or Belgium, or denmark...but I may be wrong.anyway, I guess she went to France because of Olivier
Guest FuckBuddy Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 up to now, she's performed 2hearts on tv in the uk, france, italy and the netherlands. this weekend she's on wetten dass in germany.
just!ce Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Today, she will perform at "WETTEN DASS..." in germany. That's the biggest show in europe. The album will rise after that performance! It's #15 this week, single #23 (up from #36)!
promise to try Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 up to now, she's performed 2hearts on tv in the uk, france, italy and the netherlands. this weekend she's on wetten dass in germany. and how is she doing in Italy??? is she doing OK? by the way, she should come to spain, nearly all the reviews have been great, and the single is number one again!
aeroco Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Carry on like that and we could even be FRIENDS Respect! You may hate her but I like Kylie....maybe that is our only difference. I am sure you posted once that you have a soft spot for Sonia. Love Sonia, shame she didn't have longevity and Reborn In the USA didn't do as well as expected for all the artists concerned. Loved the Dollar spat though.
karbatal Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Yeah, she performed on Star Academy, though god knows why - she has no market in France. or Holland.. Belgium.. Italy.. Denmark.. No market? She's doing a tour there!
Crystal Coffin Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 No market? She's doing a tour there! Even Fever sold only 300k in France. :vanitybonet:
Alexz Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Even Fever sold only 300k in France. :vanitybonet: And then Body Language did less than 50k
Crystal Coffin Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 And then Body Language did less than 50k I know this sounds cliche, but yes - she's only huge in the UK and Australia.
karbatal Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 300K is a good amount for an album in France. In Spain, for a foreign act, even 40k is good nowadays. The country has never been more closed to foreing music. Mariah had no song in our radiostations from Emancipation, maybe We Belong together, but only a bit. Pink, Gwen, Fergie, Avril... they are nowhere here. Nor Westlife or Justin. Only Mika could break through. Of course, Madonna is everywhere here, thanks God! France is a very difficult market too.

The country has never been more closed to foreing music. yes, in Spain the artists that sell the most are always spanish speakers (not neccesarily from Spain)
aeroco Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 (edited) Kylie falls a place to 5 in the albums, and two places to 11 in the singles. Leona, Westlife, Shayne Ward, and The Eagles are 1-4 in the albums. No sales info yet but X and 2 Hearts will both enter the top 100 sellers of the year after this weeks sales. promise to try Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 maroon 5´s album is at number 70! I can´t understand it
Alexz Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Blackout down to #80 and Gimme More down to #30. Flop.

Guest northernlad Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 No market? She's doing a tour there! Since when is 1 show a tour? Especially when 2/3 of the people attending that show will be from the UK, or the countries she's skipping this time (Spain & Italy). Yeah Fever sold 285,000 copies in France - but that was because they loved CGYOOMH not Kylie. and how is she doing in Italy??? is she doing OK? she debuted at #36 with a few hundred copies sold On another note, is that "Pumpkin Soup" song by Kate Nash a Patrick Wolf cover?
promise to try Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 she debuted at #36 with a few hundred copies sold that´s a big disaster in Italy too! I guess she´s back to her Let´s get to it times in the world (except for the UK and Australia)
