uhm, what is ehr points total for 4Minutes? it now has 2x platinum meaning 4million points... WOW at Bleeding Cunt... already 4x or (8 million) and it's still going on 200+, looks like it'll break Cher's points record...

We're living in a different era where downloads give longevity to songs, though. Believe and Bleeding Love's successes aren't comparable.

harbors, again, minor, but why aren't u using the SoundScan data? HC stands at 525,100 through this past week. And Mimi is at 997,744.

Re "Believe"- it was a pretty big-selling single, though, when singles sales still were decent- in the USA alone, it scanned 1.8 million. Similar sales for the UK, if I recall. DIgital sales in the UK are nowhere near as high as phsycial singles sales were before they started to wind down.

You're missing the albums that were sold out of time.

Did u mean 1,214 for Mariah and 44,00 for Madonna (Copies sold under treet violations)?

According to the latest info, HC sold another 135000 this week(#6 on the United World Album Chart), which makes it a 6-week total of 1878000; next week it will be really close to(or maybe even over) the 2m mark! Moo Moo sold 58000 with an 8-week total of 1526000. :demonic:

RE SoundScan- taking into account street-date violations with the first full week of sales (that really should be the total figure looked at when talking about first-week sales, anyway):

Mimi: 464,212

Madge: 280,273

I hope that Bleeding Love doesnt reach the top....it would be very unfortunate and undeserved

Unfortunately Apologize and Bleeding Love soon will be #1 and #2 at All-Time :/

Hung Up will drop again.

I swear, if digital sales are already big during Hung Up's time, it would have bigger points...

HC #8 Madonna - Hard Candy Warner Bros. - 113.000

http://www.mediatraffic.de/albums.htm

I am glad to say that I am one of those 113000 people who bought her cd last week! I hadn't bought it all this time because I was waiting and waiting for the Deluxe Edition to be available here in Greece and last week it finally was! I had to go on a treasure hunt because it sold out really quick due to limited availabilty but I am thrilled to report that it is finally MINE!!!
