Guest aaronj
This is weird... COADF is: #1 in Denmark #10 in France #12 in Italy #37 in UK #45 in Canada Not enough to chart back to Media Traffic? And Robbie Williams is in the chart... Where is he high now that makes him able to chart higher than COADF since he also have no chart action in USA too?
mtzlplk
SHAKIRA breaks the record! 16th straight week at numero 1. ugh, stupid gnarls barkley song suddenly losing points too... HolidayGuy
Wonder why it re-entered this week and not the prior- did this past week see greater movement, overall than the prior week?
Guest Beautiful Stranger
Wonder why it re-entered this week and not the prior- did this past week see greater movement, overall than the prior week? Well, it moved up another spot in France, after that big jump the week before... and didn't the increase in Denmark hapen this week?
Guest Hafo
Probably Germany helped as well. And perhaps the Japan re-release effect is only being felt now.
Nightshade
Well, it moved up another spot in France, after that big jump the week before... and didn't the increase in Denmark hapen this week? Technically that was last week, however I really have no idea what the cut-off date is for Media Traffic's data accumulation. This week in Denmark, COADF free-falls to No. 11 although the album chart looks all wonky because everything is showing as a re-entry. Hopefully, the Japanese can sustain some momentum on the World Chart if they purchase the tour edition when she lands there.
mtzlplk
Japan sales may definitely grow especially the days to her arrival there and the re-release... it just has to pass the 7.735 mark

thebigham
Impossible to know. WBR said 8 million sold last month. That's the figure I'm going with. Chris
Guest powerofgoodbye
Is it true that Russia is releasing COADF CD version. If this is true, we might see her another week in United world chart. I guess Japan Tour edition also help a lot.
mtzlplk
Now that is sad mariah album beeen out way longer than madonna and has had a re-release and madonna is that close and im sure it is safe to say that madonna coad has outsold mimi album since media traffic dont cover all countries you must take note that TEOM had more than 1.5M additional sales from the re-release in the US alone... the one with the additional 4 tracks... that's why it sold more worldwide

Guest boytoyville
only 235k copies to get pass "that" album Seriously. Bring on Jump and the broadcast of the tour!!!!!! If they really promote Jump and make it a hit in Europe at least it could keep the album afloat at the bottom of the world chart!
mtzlplk
oh, fuck it... she's not in the TOP 40... it will take a miracle to send her back there again, it's the busy release quarter, numerous new albums will keep her down... arghhh
Ai Papi Si.
I don't think it's a big deal really... that chart is kinda shoddy and we all know that she's well over 8 million copies by now after all those uncounted weeks. And even if it wasn't, Mediatraffic is excluding a bunch of countries anyway.

Nightshade
only 235k copies to get pass "that" album It should be considered an achievement since Madonna didn't re-release her album with a new hit to get more sales in the 4th quarter. By this chart's standards (and in that regard), Madonna had a bigger comeback than Mimi.

Guest Joey's Hung Up On Madonna
Ummmm the only reason mariah looks like she's sold more here is because of her consistency in the US ... I MEAN HONESTLY, even in the weeks she wasn't make the charts madonna was selling plenty.
