The video is subtitled and there you can see the word "English". I've just watched it again.

Interesting. If you read the official lyrics in Apple Music, its anguish.

Just saying. Personally I like “anguish” more but English makes more sense if it’s indeed Joan of Arc quote

There's so much confusion. Anyway, I really like the song and the video.

"English" would have made more sense. Anguish is somewhat manageable...

I don't know cos the following line is "god is on my side" which is definitely a Joan of Arc reference and JOA fought against the "english" i thought?

I thought it was "English" not "anguish".

I'm 80 percent sure it's "English".

The first of these preview songs that I didn't like at all.  I will have to listen to it again, though.

So weird it sounds like something Bjork would record.

Visually it's a masterpiece. Musically it feels like an interlude more than a song, especially the second half. How it was used on Eurovision got me thinking that.

DB is Completely crazy but I LOVE it. Deep.

It seems craziness is the recurring element of this new work. In its best possible sense of course. I love her for continuing to not be afraid of experimentation

And usually I'm not a big fan of vocoder effects but it works magnificently in that specific part. The words with the added effect gave me chills

I adore that part.

That's not Madonna, that's Joan of Arc speaking.

Amazing.

For me it’s excellent. I just tend to enjoy off the cuff stuff, I always love when she ventures off
