She talked of wanting to work and then performed " Don't tell me" as an answer to those critics. Now, it seems as if she is getting portrayed as a sort of victim for being both a mother and an artist and I think that is a shame. I don't see people on this board acting like Madonna is a victim of the motherhood/children dilemma. I do, however, see people seemingly annoyed/angry (and that's putting in mildly) at her inclusion of the adorable, clearly deeply loved, kids on instagram and the fact that some of her artistic choices may be negotiated with the fact she is a mother.
