Creepy Insane Person
Say goodbye to To privacy but most of all, innocence Should have been on Erotica. Wasn't the Just Say Roe version going to be track 2 on the album before Fever came along?

nightcutter
The September HMV brochure for 1992 included a list of forthcoming albums. GBTI was listed as one of the tracks for Erotica so it looks like it almost made it to the album.

Guest
This song is the epitome of who she is. It's her final goodbye to a world she once knew. But, that world is gone now. She has to give up a certain part of herself if she wants to continue on the path she's on. The part of herself that she's giving up is her innocence. All of us, pop stars or not, give up our innocence. Unusually when we reach adulthood. Best line: Some people have a snake at the base of their spine That would suck out your life, that would take all your time They're called feeders They're not believers but you must not fear it They are takers This is when we realize that our innocence is gone. From there on out - we keep our guard up. It's a very sad song.
karbatal
why would she serve us with that loooooong remix instead of the regular song as b-side for Rain? She's the biggest troll in music history
nimos
I really love this song. I remember I ordered the CD from Amazon.com and had to pay lots of import taxes! It was worth it, though.

Guest
No one's posted the song: Here's the lyrics: A wealthy San Francisco socialite, Gloria Saunders (Chambers), is taken against her will to an elite North Beach sex club and loved "as she's never been loved before". There she engages in lesbian sex with a group of six women, for some reason all dressed in black, before being brought out wearing a white dress on stage through the green door. The silent, largely masked audience become increasingly aroused as her white dress is removed and she is stroked, kissed and given cunnilingus by the women. Her first heterosexual sex is with the African-American boxer Johnnie Keyes, accompanied by a jazz soundtrack. Over 45 minutes, he gives her more cunnilingus and then they have sexual intercourse, while Gloria continues to be stroked by the other women. When she has an orgasm, the sex stops and he is not shown to ejaculate. Gloria then mounts a trapeze contraption suspended from the ceiling and then engages in vaginal intercourse with one man as she performs oral sex on another and masturbates two others. The audience become further aroused and begin having sex with each other in what becomes an orgy.In a psychedelic key sequence, an ejaculation is shown with semen flying through the air for almost seven minutes. The film features several multicolored, optically printed, slow-motion close-ups of money shots. This is the only ejaculation sequence in the film. The narrator then runs from the audience onto the stage and carries Gloria off through the green door. The film ends with him and Gloria making love alone. Guest
I absofuckinglutely love this song, it's amazing. I do understand why she chose not to include it because you can only have so many jazzy spoken word songs with a beat on the one album without it getting repetitive but it could have at least been a proper B side like how we got Let Down Your Guard another cracker of a song that should have been an album track. Even though Bedtime Stories is one of her best and most well written and produced albums it could have been even better with the inclusion of a dance track like LDYG. She really frustrates me sometimes.
