Sloane Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 ...right after "Future Lovers". Ignore my previous post. Future Lovers is better.
Love Technician Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I'm afraid not. It's actually Push...
aorlaan Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 i used to think this song was so boring and generic, but it really is a gem
Guest TearsInHeaven Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 it is for me, followed by Future Lovers
Flip The Switch Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Ignore my previous post. Future Lovers is better. It was the first track that caught my attention and was blown away on the first listen, and that tour opening Get Together is a great track as well.
Guest Rachelle of London Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I'm afraid not. It's actually Push... Preach
Apples388 Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Is Get Together the best song on COADF? And the answer is... Yes! Yes, it is!
Sloane Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 It was the first track that caught my attention and was blown away on the first listen, and that tour opening Get Together is a great track as well. The Confessions tour opening is everything. It's one of the best things she's ever done.
runa Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 YES! In my top 10 Madonna song ever. And probably my favorite when I'm drunk,
JimmyJimmy Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Pretty much. I have to admit, however, that Push is severly underrated.
nick00 Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Agree possibly the best, but there is competition from at least a few other tracks on the album.
FurnStar Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I didn't like it when I first heard it. She performed it on Parkinson here in the UK where she also did a GREAT interview. It was just before the album came out so the only songs I'd heard was the epic Hung Up...then Get Together. And at first I was like "meh" about the song. But then it grew on me and now I love it
Kurt420 Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 It is!! And I've pretty much thought that from day one. The video has even grown on me over the years, somehow it fits. I'd go as far to say that this song Is prob in her top 3 songs of the '00's for me.
Glindathegood Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Yes, I think so. They still play it quite a bit at my gym. It has some of her best warmest vocals of recent years. I wonder if she would consider doing on a tour?
drunkbysix Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 The live version makes me want to dance on countertops in my undies
ryan Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 The live version makes me want to dance on countertops in my undiesYesThat version is superior to the album version One of her greatest songs ever! It made the top 10 of The Official MadonnaNation Top 40 back in 2013 at #9!!!! And Hung Up was only at #12! This proves that Get Together is the most loved song from the fantabulous COADf.
Platinum Gold Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 yes! the mid song break down with the soft drum kicks and the euphoric vocals is everything :wow:
JimmyJimmy Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Yes That version is superior to the album version One of her greatest songs ever! It made the top 10 of The Official MadonnaNation Top 40 back in 2013 at #9!!!! And Hung Up was only at #12! This proves that Get Together is the most loved song from the fantabulous COADf. What about the Elimination Game, though?
JR! Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Love it! One of my faves from Confessions! That album and tour are everything!
MCHL Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 It's the second best song of her career... behind Live to Tell.
Sloane Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 It is!! And I've pretty much thought that from day one. The video has even grown on me over the years, somehow it fits. I'd go as far to say that this song Is prob in her top 3 songs of the '00's for me. I really like the video too. It reminds me of grape juice... lush, refreshing, disco grape juice.. bubbly. It's very pretty.
