Guest
I was about to say that almost no one here read them. Which makes it extra ridiculous that people constantly criticise them, dontchathink?

Martin B.
It's great that after so many years in the entertainment industry, Sally Field can STILL land the front cover of Elle.
LatinAmericanIdol
I sometimes wonder of she did this so that 8-year-old kids in 2003 would become Madonna-luvin', record-buying teenagers a few years later...
Nightshade
I sometimes wonder of she did this so that 8-year-old kids in 2003 would become Madonna-luvin', record-buying teenagers a few years later... Honestly, I think she just bought into her own hype on Kabbalah. In 2002, she was talking about her and Guy writing them. He never got any credit so maybe that's why she gave him Ashcombe. I do think the illustrators of those books did an awesome job but overall, it was just a benign era.

Apples388
I still wonder if this era was genuine or just pure PR move. She seemed so uncomfortable throughout this period. Honey, that's called menopause.
cosmic_system
I loved how she went from kissing Britney and the Orange Lady to promote the book with that flower dress just one week later. I thought the books were cute, great illustrations. Very random moment but since 2002-2004 were the deep Kabbalah years, not so random after all.
