I missed half her speech and her entrance. I knew something was wrong when I could distinctly hear HER VOICE from one of the 'hallway cams' or whatever. I heard this woman in the hallway say, "Wherever Madonna wants to go, she can go. I don't know who her escort is, but..." and then I think the camera switched, so the audio changed. She also went into detail for the first time about their date to the Oscars in '90 i.e. she made him throw his shades out the window. She was very REAL and it was fantastic, I loved how she was like, "I know, we weren't very close" instead of pretending to be his best buddy in life and sucking his ass. I just found M's speech very emotional and hitting all the right points and then Janet's performance came on and it seemed almost like an afterthought. It was lacking something. I only wish she was on longer. And Madonna's speech was pure class all the way! I loved what she said about Michael. She was so genuine and sincere. She looked amazing too.
