franxisco66
Thanks. James Blunt, Dido, Snow Patrol, David Gray, Leona, Keane, Robbie, Norah Jones, Colplay - I couldn't make up a more mediocre list. Thankful to say I don't own any of their albums. You forgot Take That

loomer
Robbie Williams' chart trajectory is simply astounding, as is the fact only three American artists have racked up colossal sales this decade.. I love that Take That outsold him though I'd be very interested to see the sales of Rudebox

kangarooz
didnt it sell like 700.000 copies in the UK? it was a flop, but only for his standars Released in October 2006, Rudebox sold 451,000 by end of year, and didn't register for top 200 albums in 2007, so didn't sell alot, total I would expect is 500,000 max Sales from Buzzjack archieve. Glindathegood
I'm very happy to see P.J. Harvey and John Parish made it in at #25. I think that's excellent since it's quite an experimental avant garde album and they didn't do a lot of press.

loomer
Laughing boy Leonard Cohen seems to be basking in the glow of "Hallelujah" love. Fabulous. I love how he was inducted into the rock n roll hall of fame last year along with Madge and is now rightly got the recognition of being a legend he deserves. Ciccone's Cheeks
poor beyawnce doesnt look like she has much of a shot now of hitting #1 with Halo (which I really thought she had a good chance of doing). The song has that textbook power ballad sound that the UK -- even more than the U.S. -- eats up and tends to go to #1. Reason I def. dont think it'll happen know is cause the physical for both Halo and Poker Face are being released on 4/13 (last I heard).

aeroco
Calvin Harris is now at 1 in the midweeks, massive downloads. Doves still holding top spot in the albums though Gaga is closing down on them. ...and the awful Egghead Quigg is at 8 in the albums . Hope it is out of the top ten by Sunday. Still, I saw an interview with him by the BBC Breakfast News team and he was very honest about why his album is out already (to capitalise on X Factor and because Leon and Same Incest album's had poor sales when released late in the year). The rush release looks like resulting in even worse sales though
