She is selling more than the SGs (22k), GA (14.4k) etc after their opening one days sales so hoping the album still keeps its momentum through the week. Reckon she will finish between 75-100k. That is similar to Ultimate Kylie and more than BL. This is also good as this year the album market is 15% lower than 2006, which in turn was down on 2005. £6.99 in some venues.....you mean that massive music seller, also known as the supermarket Morrsions! They only sell CDs in a handful of stores, and have clearly chosen the album as a loss leader. Everywhere else is the usual £8.95 or more, e.g. HMV, Woolies, Virgin, WHSmith. The special edition is also selling well as part of this total and this is retailing at £16 or more everywhere. I know cause I looked yesterday on my lunch break and it pissed me off how the retailers bump up the price. It was £13 on Amazon etc but I can't be bothered to wait. Yes it is, when you compare to her previous albums and the album market as a whole. 75k by the weekend would be a good result. If her sales tail off and she reaches around 50-60k that would be a disappointment for the level of goodwill she has been afforded.
